Anyone waiting on the new XC60?
The XC90 has had my eye for awhile now. And the XC60 does NOT look like it will disappoint? 2018 Volvo XC60 is a lovely premium crossover contender - Autoblog
So is anyone here waiting for the release? Not sure whats to come with the next gen RDX

I actually test drove a 2016 XC60 T6 R last weekend.. didn't like it. Wasn't powerful enough.. didn't feel like it had 325 hp. Plus the interior.. way too plain for me.
Anyways, no longer looking at crossovers.

is it not a cross over?
I believe it is..
which then, makes it comparable to any OTHER crossovers on the market...
including the RDX.....
we get it... you sell Acuras.

Didn't realize they make the V90 in AWD without having to get it in the cross country jacked up trim. Interesting!
edit just saw a YouTube video of it and the sticker was 68k! Damn. This isn't the Volvo wagon I remember growing up. Rather have an XC90 for less. It feels like theyre price gauging the market given that the only main competitor is the E Class wagon

When the XC90 came out, my broker was advertising $699/mo w no down payment for the T6. That is now down to $599. Alternatively, XC60s T6 AWDs were $440, and now at $399 for closeout specials. Just to put some things in perspective. You would hope with the XC90 now out for awhile, it should cap the new XC60s at sub $500/mo (nothing down).
Need a family car in November. Looking at getting a CPO XC90, or leasing a new XC60. RDX is a fallback, as they lease in the mid $300s nothing down for vanilla non-tech. Not sure where the new RDX is shaking out time-wise.

The V60 just doesn't look like it's WORTH that money whereas the V90 looks like it's expensive.

I just looked into this, the cost of the V60P is insane. $65k for a compact Volvo wagon is just not going to happen which explains why they don't sell. Even the cost of the non-Polestar models is ridiculous. I'd rather pay $40k for a Focus RS and have $25k left over.

If it were my money, I'm with you, that I'd get an RS & have some $$ left over.

true. although the RDX leases incredibly well in the mid 300s, nothing down. Fast forward 9 months when the ugly redesign hits, you might be able to get a better looking 2017 "leftover" for maybe 300 flat a month, nothing down. Also, the CPO market for the RDX is SO inflated that there could be a pricing overlap between new 2017 leftovers discounts versus a low mileage CPO. So the whole situation could bear fruit.

The Volvo is a nice looking vehicle, but give me the RDX any day. In fact, I would buy a late model used RDX before buying a new Volvo XC60. The main reason for that is the interior which is small and cramped. There are smaller vehicles with more comfortable seating in them than the Volvo XC60. If you are going to be hauling people larger than a pre-teenager the Volvo XC60 may not be for you!

Okay, I just went to the Volvo site and built an XC60--no god damn way. That center stack with aluminum is definitely a no. I have a loaner X3 with aluminum center finishings and hate to look at it/feel it, especially when it's cold out. I'll spend the $$ and get the V90 every day of the week.

I've built 3 versions of the V90 and NEVER have I hit $68K even with both packages available being checked, carbon fiber interior trim and non-standard paint (metallic). I didn't upgrade the wheels but don't understand how you could get $8K more on the sticker with just wheels from my last fully equipped T6 build.
