tire and wheel fitment
I just recently got new wheels that are 18x9 +30 offset right now the tires on there are 215/40 R18 but they are stretched and I don't like how it looks as I would like a wider tire with no stretch or minimal stretch I would like to put on 225/40 or 235/40 or even wider tire if I would have to roll my fenders that wont be an issue what would you guys recommend also my car is lowered about 2 inches.

butt please, allow me to explain.
bought the wheels with a stretched tire and noticed one of my koni yellow shocks was blown, allowing the larger 18 inch wheel and tire combo rub on the fender...which led to cutting up the tire from the fender.
bought coilovers, but of course, to fit the wheels because they were stretched, I had to drop it down above the wheel...to make it look good.
this again, led to more trouble because tires would hit fender and cut it up even more!
I rolled and pulled the shit out of my fenders in order to fit my 18x9.5 +22 wheels.
recently, I bought new tires and raised the car up a bit.
I enjoy Andrew's car, so I modeled it after his. I enjoy being able to take speed bumps without having to worry, So my ride height is pretty high.
in the pic above, the concrete is angled sandwiching the wheel gap a bit

^since I did fuck up the fenders with my novice fender rolling techniques...bacon wavy fenders
I think farther down the road, I'll eventually fix the ALL body panels of dents, while having someone weld or mold in larger fender flares and then a repaint
and honestly, having the car up so high allows me to run the aggressive +22 offset. no rub, but maybe attributed to my fender roll and pull job
i had took quick pics on Sunday morning... thus why i didnt catch the angled concrete/driveway
i'll grab some better ones!

Everyone thinks my car is so high, but it's really not at all, and no rubbing other than the tabs in the front that I haven't removed yet.

and yes, i know my left rear tire is cambered more than my right rear tire.
I asked for stock oem alignment, but i guess my rear left camber arm is stuck at -2, while the other side can be adjusted to -1.7
I kinda like how it looks at -2!!!
probably will get a camber kit to adjust other side to -2
