Why do some TLs have that moulding along the centre of the hood? Is that a facelift thing?

I guess it just the lightning hit at certain angle, both car have the original hood.

Quick little update, the car drive greats. Couple issue need to be addressed and here is a interior shot. I will post a full thread aftee i m done cleaning it up.
