I realized I had bad gramma in that last post. I mean, I lived in the shittiest house then too, but that was irrelevant to my dumbass situation.

Now my biggest deterrent is being "those people" in my neighborhood. No one f's with me, because why bother. Little do they know, I've got *literally* tens of dollars in electronics and stuff inside my house. :mediumpimping:

Oh. shit.

She found out.

Previously, she was like, "you've got a lot of beer in here" and I played it off all cool like by saying, "yeah, it's because I've dialed it back and haven't been drinking as much" ().

But last week, she's in the pantry and then turns to me and says "holy shit! I just noticed that you've got a whole shelf of beer (it's kinda sorta stashed back behind the soup and stuff ) in addition to the stuff on the floor"

I chuckled. Reiterated that I'm just not drinking as much, and tried to avoid glancing over to the one kitchen cabinet I've taken over as well.

Additionally, I snuck a bottle of Prairie Ape Snake into the cart at HEB the other day. She was looking at the receipt on the way out and was like, what the heck is "ape snake" and why is it $12... Oh, that's your bee-- wait, how much does it cost?

Me: What's over there?

So, what I'm saying is, If I bring a couple bottles over, can I sleep on your couch for a while?

I dunno how you do it. If I had delicious microbrew beers in my house, they wouldn't be waiting to be downed!

Not quite that much. But I'm really trying to dial back my consumption a bit. Typically only drinking beer on Fridays. Sometimes Thursdays and occasionally Monday.

The thing is, it's counter productive to my goal of dropping the 20-ish (1.42 stone) lbs I packed on last year. So, I'm trying to be good. Thus, I've actually started buying more than I drink. Which, yes, is quite odd.

College me would be ashamed of fat-dad me.

For me it's generally Wednesday and Thursday and Friday and Saturday and sometimes Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

wifey has 0.5-1 beer, and a glass of wine during the week at most. Her and her stupid will power.

Beer does have a shelf life.

storing in dark areas (like cabinets) helps, as well as storing in a cool location.

Though, there's less chance of a higher alcohol content beer going bad. Not sure how long you guys keep your beers around, but it shouldn't be more than like 6 months.

I drink most days, but it's kept in moderation for most of the week. 1-2 beers a day, but sometimes I'll have 4-10, lol.

A few years ago, the newspaper here posted a chart after some changes were made to the impaired driving law (the fuckers can now seize your car for 24hrs if you're between 0.05 and 0.07. Once you hit 0.071, you dun, son). Anyway, they had one line for males and one line for females. According to my weight, height and sex (), I apparently need to crush 6 standard 5% beers in an hour before I blow over

of course, they say the table is just a rough guideline and shouldn't be trusted 100%. But for someone like me who drinks daily, shiiiiet, I wouldn't be surprised if it's true.

Oh, I might not be an alcoholic according to that link. I was drinking on average, the equivalent of 24 beers a week. I've cut down a bit. I'm around the 15 drink mark, which says it's ok! Hooray!

A beer a week.. maybe two.
If the day has been total shit and I still have to sit in front of the computer at home and work til 4AM (most days are shit, just not total shit) +1

My beers are usually tall boys and high ABV though.
Sippers if you will.

but damn, I just have a strong love for quality beer. Granted, half the shit I drink is generic piss, but that's just because of a cost thing. Alcohol is taxed to death here. $56 for a 24 of Heineken? Go fuck yourselfs. It should be half of that. An average price for a quality microbrew 6 pack is $15 and go as high as $21.

Im glad I don't smoke also, because that shit is taxed huge also. Fucking gubbermint. Killing everyone's fun.

depending on what alcohols, i get the same. itching, can't breathe, massive headaches. I've noticed wines (esp. red), beers, drinks with nitrates.. etc.
