Jeff, next time you decide to make a decision on a job. Don't. Ask us.
I wouldn't hire you if you told me you couldn't come right now because you were doing groceries and chill brah be there in the am. And since I'm always stoned, by AM I really mean 3pm.

I dont think its a big deal at all lol. It wasn't even the serv manager who called me , it was my connect who called to ask if I could come in. I honestly thought it was weird considering the serv department closes at 5pm and it was 6pm when I got called.
Like I'm at the grocery store in my jogging pants and hoodie brah, ya ill stop over right now and do a interview in that attire.

Fucking hell. El-Jeff-eh?, I will fly to Canuckistan and punch you square in the trump if you go to the interview and then turn down an offer because it's less than you want to make.
If they offer you a jerb, you fucking take it. For whatever they'll pay you. Whatever. And if it's "too low" then just steal parts and sell them on craigslist or something... but you take this job.
FFS.

Plus then you can get parts for us
TAKE THE DAMN JERB
Better yet, go into the interview with "I don't care what you're offering to pay me, I want the job"
Works. Every. Time.
Today, el-jeff-eh? wakes up, injects a couple of marijuanas, pours himself a big bowl of Capn Crunch and settles in for a day of mindlessly pwning noobs on Carl of Duty Black Cops. Around 3:30 he remembers that he was supposed to go interview for a jerb and furiously tries to unhigh himself. Shows up at the local Toyota dealership and gets arrested for trespassing after making a scene when the service manager won't talk to him because he has no idea what the unkempt stoner with the sweatpants and Buildabong shirt is doing there, babbling slowly and incoherently about an interview.
well it went very very good. Didnt get the offer right yet but I have an interview in 2 weeks with the manager of the dealership. This interview today was just with the Serv Manager. I was in there for over an hour and a half, just getting to know each other. It was super chill and I have a very good feeling about this.
She did say though that her concern is that I wont stay as I just graduated college but I told her I want to work there and contribute to the team and stay. Being around Hondas and meeting new ppl everyday and learning new stuff is my thing, I think id be very happy with this and the money starting out is really good better than I expected

Think about going back to school for a Business degree, like a MBA or something.
Okay, you thought about it? Great. Now, next time you're in for the interview, you can alleviate their concern about you leaving by telling them that you're "looking to get started in a position where you can get some experience and which has growth potential into greater levels of business responsibility while you go back and work on your MBA as a non-traditional (part time) student".
Now you've shown them that you have a plan. That you're seemingly stable in that plan. And that your plan will benefit them as you implement and achieve it.
Of course, something might come up after 3 months and you quit, but who can foresee the future?
