Was sad to see that there was not one thread in the ZDX photo gallery and thought that although I know most love or hate it, it shouldn't have to go off into the night as if it never existed.
Now that I think about it, I don't think I've actually SEEN a ZDX in some years on the road. Did they do like 'how they killed the electric car' and buy them all back and crush them?
Shame, although headroom was sucky getting in and out, I loved the ZDX. It was futuristic looking!
Despite abysmal sales and extreme love it or hate it attitudes towards it, resale value has been REALLY good. Usually when a car is almost universally disliked and sales are poor, resale drops like a pile of bricks. But in the case of the ZDX, value has remained high. To me this is a testament and sign of how good a car it truly is.
Personally I love the rear end, am ok with the front end and also love the interior. For some odd reason elite models are very very rare in Canada. Have not seen one yet. In a few years when I want to move on from my 2G MDX. A ZDX will definitely be on the table. Something unique that I think many people overlook is that the J37 in the ZDX is entirely unique to the ZDX and is not shared with any other Acura. It makes peak Hp at 6000 rpm vs 6300 and peak torque at 4500 rpm vs 5000-5500 rpm. Only Acura to offer a panormaic sunroof and it even has a real leather dash.
I also had a ZDX as a loaner once. This was not long after they came out. I was totally impressed and thought Acura had a real hit on their hands. I was really surprised when I logged on here and found that so many people hated it. I think some of its' spirit and styling ques live on in the HR-V.
Thanks for sharing these pics. The ZDX is such an underrated gem and I truly love mine, especially since it's a 2013, the last model year with limited production which makes it even more unique.
I just traded my 2015 TLX for a 2010 ZDX TECH with 59,638 miles. Pics to come. I just picked it up yesterday. AWP/Sumatra. Nice to have the "rumble" of the 3.7 back again...

Congrats, please post pics, I really really like the ZDX. By the way what is sumatra interior?

The only two exterior issues I have encountered, besides the very loud and tread-lacking tires, are these: Dent and cracked fog lamp.
Looks like a door ding... did not notice this until I did another walk around when I got home...my bad...$425 parts and labor....nah.....tires first!!!! will be 7 years old in January 2017
See if anyone makes a plexiglass insert for the fog lamp, man...I did that on my previous TL and it held up great. After that, I always put clear vinyl over them.
In fairness, the residual value isn’t far off from what you got. This residual is about 52%, it’s just that the lease incentives are $25k, which skews the residual value.
