Nice! I'm sure you'll see some nice gains with a tune.
I feel you man, I put a lot of our old rugs & carpets in the garage so I can lay on them during projects like these
I had a piece of cardboard and a beach towel I was using which helped a little.

Hmm not sure on the Borla. I've heard it has drone. I've never heard either in person but you're actually the first I've heard say they don't like the Corsa Extreme.

Awesome work, man...looks like a lot of time on your back.
Thanks bro. My back isn't the only thing that's sore.
Just got my initial custom tune sent from a very well known HEMI tuner. Have to load it, do some data logging, send it back then get a revision to get optimal results. Can't wait to see what this tune does for the butt dyno.
there's only one measure that counts, I've found.
before tune, take burnout measurements...
after tune, see if they increased by at least 15" in length.
If only the Corsa was more affordable for the F150 It's at least double nearly all the other options for the 2.7
It's the same with Chargers. It's by far the most expensive catback I've ever bought. I got a pretty good deal on it but it still made my butt pucker ordering it.

Last I checked, most catbacks are in the 4-600 range, the Corsa is $1,100 & the FullRace is somewhere in the upper middle of that range. then add in downpipes at another 6-800....
Hard part is trying to find good audio of them on the 2.7.

That's actually cheaper than prices for Charger catbacks. My Flowmaster retails for around $800. I got lucky and found one practically brand new on Craigslist for $300. The Corsa came out just shy of $1300 shipped. It's still not registering to me just how crazy that is, but I saved $600-$1000 by installing my headers myself so that's helping me to vindicate the purchase price. And Santa.
^ Not doubting, just really want to try to hear a few options in person before deciding.
No idea how the 2.7 is going to sound, the few decent youtube videos I've found don't sound bad. If you're not listening, you wouldn't think it's a truck.
Corsa is the SHIT though, worth it.
I spent more than that on the exhaust I put on the S2000 that I'm currently for sell.
Well you don't count because you on dat V level.

I'd be hesitant to spend that much if there weren't a ton of sound clips out there. Luckily for me there's a bunch on YouTube and I really liked what I heard.

Thanks K. How about a V8? You have more important things to save your money for doe.

Right, lots more available for the 3.5EB & Coyote, not a lot for the 2.7
Will have to try to find a couple local guys that have aftermarket & get some in person experience.
Can't those guys really be blamed for most of the world's problems?

I'm lucky! And yes, my signature is accurate too. :
One 1 year old does not count. 2 kids + only brah. Keep reproducing then come back and you shall be admitted.

Good idea. Being a smaller engine it might have a completely different sound than the 3.5.
I installed the Corsa Xtreme last week. I'm having a lot of buyers remorse, go figure since that's my typical thing now-a-days. It's a completely different sound than the Flowmaster Force II, more of a raspy straight pipe tone, which I was expecting, but what I wasn't expecting was for it to still have drone since it's advertised as a completely drone free system. It's weird because it's not as droney (is that a word?) at lower RPMs and speeds, but on the highway 70mph and on up it drones just as much as the Flowmaster did, and worse it's a buzzier drone than the lower bass drone of the Flows. It's also quite a bit louder than the Flows when going WOT, which is what I wanted, but it's almost like an on/off switch. It's quieter idle on up to about 30% throttle, but then after that it's definitely louder than the Flows which were more consistent in sound levels, if that makes sense.
Performance-wise I can't tell any difference whatsoever even though it's a straight through exhaust vs Flowmaster which has chambered mufflers. Same diameter piping for both systems.
I already had the fight or flight moment trying to ask if I could return it and the customer service person told me once it's installed it's not returnable. So I listed it for sale lol. Well I decided I was jumping the gun and took down my ads and decided to give it a chance for a while letting it break in and then decide what I want to do. It's a huge loss of money if I just get rid of it after a week. I'll see if I can post a video of it in a sec. It's got some breaking in to do of course so this first cold start video may not be how it sounds in a month or so but it'll give you an idea of the difference between the two systems. Please give me your guys opinions of the different sounds.
Brother...
if I shared all my crazy thoughts, you'd realize that we were probably separated at birth...
You already spent the money...let it burn in and develop some coating of carbon buildup to tone itself down.
Is there a place up front that would allow you to put in a couple of vibrant resonators? I've read they are the drone killers.

Corsa looks so good!
Ha ha you share my same issues homie. I absolutely jumped the gun on the for sale post. I realized quickly too all the creatures that come out of the woods to low ball on an already crazy good deal I was offering. I'm absolutely holding off on selling it until I give it at leas until Spring time. It's too cold to keep going back under the car and taking exhaust systems on and off anyway. There's not enough room for any resonators. I believe that's really the main reason for those cylinders behind the X pipe up front. They're pretty much huge resonators with their "drone canceling" technology. I just contacted Corsa with my issues. I have read online other Charger owners complaining about getting drone and them sending replacement parts under warranty. We'll see. It does look so damn good though doesn't it? It definitely is a high quality piece all around.
do they make bigger diameter resonators that you could potentially swap out... that sucks that you aren't happy with them... Corsa makes a solid product and you pay for it...
Click on the photos I just posted to listen to the sounds clips. The Corsa definitely sounds meaner, but maybe less refined? Never thought I'd say Flowmasters sound refined though ha ha.
I'm not sure if they make bigger resonators or not. We'll see if they contact me and if so what they say. For the price I paid I'd hope there'd be some sort of tech support.
