Ok you all convinced me to leave the camera inside the car next time and just buy an external mic to get the exhaust sound. Lesson learned.

For what it's worth, I've done a GoPro mount via suction cup mount on the trunk before, and I didn't have any problems. However, the external mic gives much better audio. It's fun getting the external shots, too. I just wonder how your GoPro fell off!
By the way, I think the exhaust sounds awesome, and I love the way it looks!

Yeah I've done the trunk shot before, using the same GoPro suction cup mount, and had no issues. I did mount it lower this time, on the bumper, so I wonder if it was flexing or something and just eventually flexed enough to break the suction. It was on a back road and I wasn't on it, so it's odd that it feel off. I'd understand if it was when I was mashing the gas pedal but this was just cruising along at maybe 35mph. That's why I was hoping I'd be able to find the memory card to see if there was a clue on there about what happened, but it's gone forever at this point.

Had a jokester in a riced out Jetta speed up so I couldn't merge over to the right to get off my exit, so I proceeded to drop the hammer to pass the car in front of him to get over. He then passes the same car and gets behind me approaching a red light ahead, then slowly drives next to me on my left and signals for me to put my window down, so I do. "That's a bad ass car man!! What do you have done to it??". Made my night. I guess I'm keeping the Corsa lol.

My complete up-to-date mod list as of 12-18-16. The only major thing left is to tackle the stock 2.65 rear gears. Thinking about upgrading to a 3.06 SRT rear diff in the spring of '17 which is pretty much direct bolt in. Otherwise I'm putting a fork in it and anything else will be small dress up or maintenance items (but my wife doesn't believe me and frankly I don't either lol).

Exhaust sounds good. Sorry about your GoPro. My GoPro suction cup has been solid for me on both metal body panels, glass, as well as bumpers but I still always tether it too just in case even it it is just a piece of twine or something tied off inside the car. I have recently went the external mic solution as well. I used it the first time for the exhaust video of the V.
Regarding saying you are finished modding. I don't buy it. Once you start down this path I don't believe it ever ends. Especially with a list that long. Plus in a few years it will be on to the next car. Maybe a V Wagon and you will be starting all over again.

I was thinking more along the lines of going back to stock exhaust and adding cutouts ...

My option would be to go back to the Flowmaster catback and do cutouts. While I've grown to appreciate the tone and volume of the Corsa, I can't stand when it sends a strong vibration through the cabin at certain RPMs when it's in ECO mode. You'd think when you drop $1,300 on a catback it'd be perfect. I'm just wondering if the people that love this exhaust don't have headers and hi-flow mid pipes. I think it's messing with the resonance. 1st world problems.

get rid of ECO mode already...its a freaking muscle car. No ECO, no MDS...run those damn 8 cylinders like they demand and all your problems will be solved.

It drives you crazy doesn't it?!! You say it's a muscle car, I say it's a four door family sedan lol.

That's the biggest issue with me, too. I haven't found an exhaust shop in the area I trust enough to install cutouts.

Yep only in ECO Mode. When it's on all 8 cylinders it's vibration free. When it warms up outside I'm going to have to go back under and check all the connections I guess, but part of me think it's not going to fix the iseue because I suspect the vibration is caused by the resonance change and it's frequency based, not loose fitting based..
Have a similar resonance issue at about 2k RPM on my RS4's aftermarket exhaust, but don't want to quiet it any in the rest of the rev band, and it doesn't bother me as much.
Something like this. Vibrant Performance ::.

Had a similar issue with a different car which was not eliminated, but was improved by adding in another vibrant resonator even though the system already had one. Not sure if you want to hack into your aftermarket setup, but just a thought.

I mean, you dropped all this time and money modding your car. If it was really JUST a family sedan to you, why bother? So, you've done all this modding...and the one thing counter intuitive to said modding (ECO mode) you are too stubborn just turn off and solve your problems? I dont get it.
Just try it. You might like it.

Thanks for the input! Yeah I'm definitely not going to be adding any more resonators to either exhaust. Unfortunately I think I'm either going to have to live with it, kill the ECO Mode or switch back to the Flows. Unless I'm completely wrong and there is indeed a loose connection or heat shield underneath that needs attention.

He drives it in sport 75%, personal 20% and normal the other 5% of the time, it's never seen ECO again since the first week it came home from the dealer last year..

Ok I've listened to the people. I emailed my tuner yesterday and he's going to send me a tune with MDS aka Eco Mode off. Here's the thing though. The main reason I got the Corsa Xtreme was to deal with the sound when in ECO Mode, so now do I go back to the FM catback and sell the Corsa or vise versa? I could get about $800 or $900 back for the Corsa, where the FM wasn't getting any bites even when dropped to $300. Selling the Corsa would pay for cutouts and a rear 3.06 diff. Hmmmmm.

Just wait and see what's it's like when you get the new tune on.
But it of course you'll say "I should have listened to Sarlacc YEARS ago!!!!" When you realize how much eco mode hindered around town driving.

If there is no drone from the Corsa then I say keep the Corsa. Especially if it is louder than the Flowmaster. Muscle Car = Louder is Better

If you're happy with the sound of the exhaust when not in ECO then yes don't drive in ECO.. Seriously that's what I would do. I've never driven a Charger but my oldest son has a Q50S with the Infiniti perf exhaust, the car is fun to drive and pretty quick.. Now granted all cars are different, but the first time (and last) I drove the Q50S in ECO mode I couldn't believe how much of a pig it was.
He drives it in sport 75%, personal 20% and normal the other 5% of the time, it's never seen ECO again since the first week it came home from the dealer last year..

Whoa whoa what's the deal with Infiniti photos appearing in my thread????
I installed the non-MDS tune this morning. Drove around a little bit and it is definitely less herky-jerky (sp?) not going in and out of 4 cylinder mode. And of course the vibration is gone. I guess I can get used to it.
