Yeah, we dropped the bonus points and low points rules. It's straight points.

 

 

why are you cheering 00TL? If you keep scoring points above a 0.0, and the competition stays this tight, you could lose.

But, the season's still got some time left in it, so too early to start prepping a victory lap yet. All it takes is a couple bad picks.

The championship is coming down to the wire. Is this 00TL's championship to lose? Or will someone make a series of great picks to overhaul him?

 

every time I use a pick that should produce good results, I get a driver who crashes out, has a mechanical failure, or gets his race compromised by pit strategy.

 

With two straight poor races by 00TL, the top spot is now up for grabs. F-C is only 1 point behind, while West is only 7 points behind.
Meanwhile, icy2 continues his late push, but will he run out races before the end of the season?

Currently, everyone above 8th place still has a mathematical shot at the championship.

Yeah, it's certainly a reach, considering you are out of drivers from Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari. You'd almost need a first corner pile up that takes out all six top contenders. It's not completely impossible, but the odds are slim.

Congratulations to West6MT!

West takes the championship for 2016 in dramatic fashion. After missing the first race, he started his championship drive being almost 50 points behind from the get go. He briefly takes the lead after Germany in the middle of the season, but his surge at Brazil cemented his position at the top of the table.

Congrats West on going from last to first!

Noticed something interesting. West had three races where he scored zero points. This goes to show that you can miss races and still win the championship. icy2 was the only person that scored in every event, yet he finished in fourth.

 

Only 1 dead race for me, but US & Mexico killed me, may as well had been 0s.
