Bad cell pic, about to paint the calipers black and install the drilled n slotted rotors and ceramic pads. Next is new kyb struts and s tech springs. (I know I know, coilovers, but too much for my budget.)

If I were you, would probably look into Tein Basics or Tein Street Advance. It's almost comparable to the price of spring and shock combos. All you need to do is use your stock top hats. I wouldn't mind spending just a little more to get the ability to adjust ride height. But to each their own. Just suggesting. And with Tein Street Advance, you can adjust dampening.

I'm going to go with KYB shocks and Tanabe lowering springs for their slightly higher spring rate.

Nice. Make sure to get some pictures up when you get it done. I was suggesting that because the Tein Basics cost less than $600 usually. But the Tanabe choice is pretty good. They lower a decent amount and make the rear a little higher then the front. That would have been my choice if I didn't go with Tein Flex. Let me know how they ride as well.

how are you liking the tein flex? i like them a lot overall but i still feel they are a little underdampened even at stiff settings (little more "float" than i want). overall they perform pretty damn well though.

yea biggy, want a review on your flex. I have the same feeling as sockr1 does! Mine feel a bit bouncy and I wasn't expecting it. I will say the roads here are pretty chewed and dips like crazy so that does play a factor. When I get on a nice road they seem great.

Although I did have a very experienced car guy drive my car and he said it feels bouncy and asked if I had a blown shock I said nah man theyre literally like 2 weeks old LOL

I actually really like them. I have them set at a pretty soft setting in the rear though. Maybe like 4 clicks up from softest in the rear. Which was a mistake and I'm too lazy to take it all apart again. LOL. Plus I did that because I have a wife and kid that I take in the car occasionally. I probably should have left the rear at stock setting. Because for me the fronts are perfect. Considering the weight of the car, I think they are pretty good. Are you guys running a rear sway bar? Also what I noticed with the rear spring rate is that it's pretty soft at 6. I totally forgot to factor that in when making adjustments with the dampening. Overall I am actually really happy with the set up. I haven't taken it to the canyons as of yet. I need to do that to give you guys a full on say on how I like it. But as for now, daily driving it's great. Hey Sockr1, what part of SD are you in? I'm in So Cal as well, but I live in San Bernardino...
