18" OEM's are for winter, it actually sits higher now this is an old pic I found. It wasn't fun driving on NY roads sitting like this, especially in the winter.
^ your RX F sport looks SOOOO much better than the new ones...
Thanks... We've had it two years this month and the F-Sport pkg is what sold my wife on it. I agree I like the 15 better but could live with the new RX if my wife wanted it, but she doesn't like the new one at all. We both agree that the interior on the 16 is much nicer, roomier and it is more refined when you drive it, but she can't get past the front of it. She said maybe she will get used to it but isn't too sure.
So next Sept when it's time for her F-Sport to go back it will be interesting what we do. We were at Lexus two weeks ago for oil and inspection and our salesman let us drive the GX, and she loved (as she said) the truck feel to it. So maybe we go that route because I would prefer to stay with Lexus.

The new 2017 RXs have grown on me a lot. My mom just upgraded her 2007 RX330 to a 2017 RX350 and my dad has a 2014 RX. After driving both, the 2017 has a much better interior (in terms of design and quality). Both drive about the same... what you would expect from a RX, no thrills but has a good engine.

Yeah I agree, I definitely don't consider an RX a thrilling vehicle either, it's what it is and that's a very reliable, refined solid vehicle for family use and trips. But do I think the F-Sport Pkg makes it look so much better, and the handling is improved over the regular RX.
We looked at the RX several times over the years and while it drove great, was incredibly refined we both, but especially my wife found it too bland. And since this is her primary vehicle I wanted her to be happy. When I showed her the 15 F-Sport in white with the cabernet interior she told me let's go and see it, and she has been happy with it since.

Thanks a lot, so you know, everytime I see one now I am going to think of your post.... LOL
The Explorer doesnt even know its back there. 5 people, luggage, just shy of 5k lb of boat/trailer, Cruise set at 75 and it still got 18.5mpg. This thing pulls the boat so much easier than the expedition with the 5.4 ever did. The expedition was always changing gears, struggled maintaing speed and was lucky to get 10mpg with the boat behind it. The Explorer will get to 80 mph half way up the average on ramp onto the hwy with the boat behind it and drops into 6th on the hwy and rarely ever comes out of it unless there is a fairly steep/long hill.

That's pretty awesome. So far, we've only had about 1k lbs of cargo in the bed/cab with my wife's business. Looking forward to getting a trailer & making that job a lot easier. Hope the 2.7 pulls as well as the 3.5.
Not much changed here, pulled off the front plate bracket (just clips on, which is nice). Parked here next to my co-worker's Colorado.
My Cravenspeed stubby showed delivered yesterday, get home & nothing in the mail....
