SOLD: 2007 tl-s 6mt ecu

2007 tl-s 6mt ecu
Category: Engine - Electrical
Price: $400
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G
Location (State/Prov/Terr): FL
Item Condition: Used
Reason for selling is that when initially tuning the ECU was replaced to troubleshoot an issue that ended up being bad main grounds on the car. Once new ECU was in the car, of course I could not return the new one.
I've confirmed that it works by connecting to it via flashpro and "returning it to stock" and then "unlocking from vehicle". In addition, I took pictures of the board showing that it's clean and pretty.
Perfect for someone with an older base TL looking to get the parts to be able to tune.

But if you have an 04-06 TL MT & need the VIN # reprogrammed to the new ECM, you're gonna need a MT ECM. I've tried w/ an Auto, won't work. An Auto ECM will work fine w/ a MT, but you have can't have your origincal VIN # reprogrammed to it.

wrong. I did it last week. The trick is to first install the ecu and then hondata flashpro to flash it to MT. Then take it to the dealer and now they can program the vinn in. I did it for 6 different cars using AT ecu. If you want to have your Vinn program to your new ECU LMK i do have the honda vinn/key programmer
see my tweaked hondata protocol.
Exactly what you need to get Flashpro to work on the 6mt Accord 03-07 *Sticky Please* - Honda Accord Forum : V6 Performance Accord Forums
But yes the ECU that OP is selling is direct plug and play. No need to open it up and tweak the ecu and use the modified protocol
had some guy in Canada blame me for selling a broken ECU and him paying the dealership twice to reprogram stuff.

the ECU is going to be mostly plug and play and the dealer won't tell you that it is "broken" and they can't program it. It should work right away after swapping it in with the harness and canbus wiring. Definitely, worth saving the buyer some headache.
if anyone has questions about programming please direct your questions to me. I would love to see more TL/Accord running flashpro so that we can get better support for opinions that are currently present on the civic, but not on the accord/tl platform.

Thanks
"Welcome to the forums."
Thank you Ron!
Looking to piece together a good build for a TL in Jacksonville FL, not to many tuner shops here I really Trust to be honest. So I have been researching and saving for part after part, so I will be in contact @ thisaznboi88
Appreciate the insight and thank you.

Yeah, he certainly knows his stuff...
and if you go the lightweight route early on...Dominic is an amazing e-tuner too. I've had nothing but great things to say about him.
I hadn't run a log in a week and he actually emailed me to see if I was ded
Now that's service.

The part number you searched doesn't match the one that's on the label of the one I am selling.
In addition, those additional links could be ones where they hit you with a higher shipping rate to offset.
Never mind that two members that seem VERY well versed in the J series motor and what you need for tuning already
chimed in saying this is a rare ECU to see for sale and the pricing was very competitive.
Just double checked oemacuraparts and it's $517 like Ron stated.
When I sell it's not just about the money, it's also who I sell to and I'm not getting the warm fuzzies here.
I'd budge on price, gladly if it was necessary...but I won't be hustled into it.

Maybe hustled wasn't the right word, maybe coerced?
I don't know, man...I'd love to hear from the first few members that specifically stated that THIS particular ECU is a rarity before I just settle on less.
Let me do a little research and I'll get back to you, man.

Still?
Hi!
Do you still have the ECU? I have a 04 MT, I would need to do anything related to the key? also, do you have the Hondata Flashpro? And lastly, do you accept paypal?
Thanks!
