Boys...AZ is still my home one way or another.
Maybe one day I'll be in another TL...maybe not. It's definitely still a gorgeous ride that I'll always cherish. I learned the ropes on her...I enjoyed her, I know a lot about her.
I appreciate the compliments, that's for sure.
Plus, I'm still in the Honda family with the S2000!!
It is the SRX, that's our family car! Now we have 2 SRX's though!!!
That another big part of it...for such a big expense...I had to strike while the iron was hot. My wife was for me doing it...and I didn't think that would happen. So I had to jump while it wasn't gonna be a relationship ender!
Plus, I knew I could still have a little time to let it all soak in and decide if I wanted to turn around and sell the V...for profit...or enjoy it for a bit. But after driving it for a few days...it really is a pretty spectacularly comfortable and fast vehicle.
There's no way you're a dying breed...the 3G is a fantastic ride.
I think I just spent almost 8 years in one and I was ready to try something new.
It's still amazing...this was just an itch I had to scratch and the wife was on board, which I didn't know when that would happen again.
Sometimes opportunity is about timing...
still love 3G...always will...maybe I'll get another one day down the line, never know!!!!
That was another big thing...

People are snatching these things up and NOT selling them. It may go the way of the NSX....
Same with the S2000...finding a clean one is getting harder and harder.
TL, in 10 years I'll still be able to find one...clean, in the trim I want...with the transmission I want...
It was a no brainer for me...had to give it a shot...and to be honest, I'm not hating having an auto to go get groceries and pick up my daughter. There's a time for the desire to feel very engaged with the driving experience and there are times where you're just going to run errands. At least I can run them pretty fast.
completely understand your position man, i feel the same way every once in a while. my wife can't drive manual so she's never driven my car and there's times where i know i'm going to be drinking heavily and we'd love to take my car since it's so much more comfortable and roomy compared to her 2 door civic...but we can't because of the transmission. i briefly looked at s4 audis 2 years ago but knew i'd spend way more than i'd like modding it. but the auto factor was the main reason i looked at them.
i said i'd teach her but then she said she would feel too nervous about ruining it since she says i love it more than her haha.
happy that you're happy man, you've been a great help on this forum and really helped get it to where it's at. i know i've hit you up multiple times for help and i'm sure others appreciate what you've done. put up a thread so we can see what you're in now!!! i don't go into ramblings so put up a link here haha
