Both the kids getting a bath. Ill be (with any luck) blacking out the huge orange blobs in the headlights, and upgrading the projectors to some nice EVOX-R projectors and HID's this weekend.

Love this. I have always wanted to own one of these. My favorite Civic ever.

I'd imagine there are plenty of 6G Civic hatch out there. Ours started as a 98 DX last summer, The original plan was just to get some decent rims, tires, and suspension. Eventually, we went a bit further with a B20 Vtec swap with a ITR LSD tranny, upgraded to full disc brakes all round, and a 99-00 conversion. We also gutted the interior and removed the power steering, which removed about 200lb.
It's a really fun to drive car. We thought about K series swap too, but then we were worried it would cost quite a bit more, and more complex to execute. Still, it's about 206hp/160lbft at the hub right now, which is quite decent for a car that is about 2100lb.
I read all about the B series back in the days, but now sometimes you really gotta drive it to understand what people are talking about....lol...the throttle response, VTEC change over, front double wishbone suspension...all of these make the car quite a blast to drive on a track. One good thing about the hatch is that, it's able to haul tools and shxt to the track on its own...lol.
If you are thinking about getting one and doing some work on it, then perhaps you don't really need a really clean one? Ours has scratches and dents here and there, but those don't really hinder the driving experience.

yah I have been talking about wanting a 2000 Hatch since my HS days....
there is always something that get in the way. First $, then could only afford 1 car, then no parking space. Always something.
I still want a white one with red bride bucket seat, OEM style CF hood, Type R lip and Civic Si wheels.
