I won't double post but

ALso, this weekend, I swapped over to a jpipe Richie sent me to test.
Oddly, I still hear the hanger banging hanger sound, but it's MUCH muted over the original one I bought (that I'll be sending him to test out). I think there's inherently and issue with the outer flex vibrating against inner flex from exhaust pulses.
Either way, I appreciate the nice clean jpipe and will send him mine, shortly.
Looking like bank one was (is? did valve adjust) rich

here da J

Today, I fucked my fender...then I unfucked it...luckily I already had all the tools.
Also, tomorrow, I'll be doing some simple upgrading...
and my master cylinder starting doing it's thing and being noisy...I researched all my previous research and posts on the AZ...and found my original solution...high temp urea honda grease...ordered more just in case.
Also, an add a fuse to see if it'll clear the fuse door for the V1 and remote sub turn on.

You seem to always find such nice locations. Looking fantastic as always
Have you greased the MC on your old TL before? I sometimes get noises/creaking but have read that the grease is really only a temporary fix. I actually have a brand new MC but it looks to be a huge pain in the ass to install.

Thanks!
Yes sir, I researched the FUCK out of this.
I tried everything you can name...
finally, Honda High Temp Urea grease...in a plastic syringe shot into the master cylinder...silence for years. On the black car, it was still silent...on the bleu car...new master a few years ago and got noisy, was silent today.
It's the truth.

I did PCDs over the weekend and I hear that same "chatter" right around 3000RPM. Thought it was all in my head but seems like you hear it too?
Is there a fix or you just learn to live with it, also do you hear it outside the car?
PCDS, OEM jpipe and 3rd cat, +stage 2 is my current setup.

Damn man...really? I thought for sure it was coming from the jpipe...odd that you're hearing it too. When tightening down the v3 j, you need to have the cats loose until you put something to space the 2 sections of flex on the jpipe so they don't touch. On the oem pipe, that's not necessary...
Ryan...for sure, man...
I tried EVERYTHING...white lithium grease, wd40, molykote....
nothing lasted EXCEPT the Honda Urea grease...I did it, and it was still good 4 years later when I sold the car. I was at wit's end...and from what I gather, people that have changed the master, end up with the problem again.

Damn yeah good to know. I kind of just dealt with it in the past but am interested in trying the honda grease now.
I'm glad I didn't tackle the MC job now. My hands aren't nearly small enough lol

Tell me about it...
Dude, I removed the pedal, replaced the spring, lubed everything that moves...
in the end, it's the master cylinder. 4 fukin years later, she was still silent after that application.
The KEY is to have the pedal completely depressed though, so the urea can get all the way down the chamber.

I could easily hide her...lmao
I actually used two shots because in one she's not visible.
But thank you!

yeah, I take my camera everywhere! the car is half of it, but where the car is is a big part of what makes the pictures interesting to look at.

I kept trying to figure out a way to make a joke about the car being the same color as that wheelie bin in the background.
But recycling is cool and so is that car, so I just left things alone.

It's crazy cause you can tell the car was not from -200000BC but then there's the dynosawyer and it's like, wait, wut. How are they in the same pic.
