looks like an awesome fit! personally, I would black out the silver housing around the led ellipsoids.

I chatted with Charlie @ TRS. They are out of stock, and no idea on when they'll have more. There is someone working on this for an 8th Gen Accord (link below). But would love to hear more from the OP!

I would like to see how this turns out. As of now I don't think it flows well.

As much as I want this to work...I'm not liking the gap at the top of the lenses. Also, it looks like it would be better if there was less silver and more dark.

 

I respect the work done but if you look closely at the headlight edges, many tabs have been melted off/ripped. Also it doesnt appear to be sealed yet as there's a gap, so we'll see

 

^ im in contact with the one shop who has successfully done this in Georgia. They have sent pics and its fully sealed up and working. That pic is when the lense wasn't fully put on yet. So it is 100% doable.


The jewel eyes just shipped out to me today. I will update this thread

It's pretty cool, but I think its going to ruin the front end of the TL.

 

I think I agree with maui^^^. Overall that looks great, but I think it's too different. In other words, it's such a drastic change that it's just gonna be weird to look at on what everyone has been used to for years and years on a 3G TL.
Can't wait to see more pictures, however until I see them on the car, I'm still gonna say I think the best looking 3G headlight is simply a totally stock 07/08 Type S light with ZKW lenses.

 

Yeah, im very anxious to see these installed on a 3g but I think they might look a bit out of place.

 

Not a fan of jewel eyes, but still might not look too bad.

 

I thought I was done modding my headlights, but I guess wrong lol. I just hope its not too expensive to retrofit these on my headlights.

Just the jewel eyes were 500. I have a spare set of type s headlights to work on so that's no cost. Id say if you wanted another set to work on probable 300 and roughly 100 - 200 in materials to get them working. Ill have a fun next few weeks ahead of me
