Make certain the rad is actually leaking and not the overflow or hose connections. As far as the best rad for a TL I'd have to say that the factory unit is probably best, but costly. I've used many Radiator Express units and only one problem, but comes with a lifetime warranty.

OK, then did they pressure test the rad when cold to find the leak?

No pressure test. You can hear and see it from the plastic.

Similar to the daughter's Maxima, leaking through the plastic at the bracket connection. Radiator Express to the rescue.

An update for you guys... I was told this Koyo unit was a japanese unit, it's not, made in china sticker is firmly affixed. I was told it appeared to be very well made, except for the fact that the internal rows were smaller than oem. The car runs a little hotter, not much.

If I had to do this again, I'd buy the chinese brand csi which I was told is the same unit. $100 vs $170. Best choice is likely oem.

ouch. unfortunate, but here is their FAQ:
http://www.koyorad.com/faq.asp

only their "performance" radiators for select vehicles are made in japan. everything classified as an OE replacement is china or indonesia.
