I have searched for similar symptoms on the board but could not find any for a 3rd gen. After I have been in traffic for some time (about 30m) The idle will drop about 300rpm and then back to normal. Had my throttle body cleaned, changed spark plugs. It does not matter if a/c is on or off. MAp sensor going bad? Or IAC? Any help would be appreciated.

Honestly not too sure about this, but a similar thing was happening to my 92 Accord. Supposedly it is due to a bad sensor. I think it's the oxygen sensor. A mechanic mentioned this to me a while ago, but I never replaced it since it doesn't bother me and nor am I looking to spend money on that car.

 

you have to reflash the computer since you clean the throttle body

 

Reset ECU, Clean intake again, I am thinking it might be APP sensor as the surge only happens when the car is hot with a/c on. Going to get a sensor ordered and will report.
