I want to thank each and every one of you who wish me well.
I'm am in perfect condition.
the only thing that is hurt is my bank account and the poor car.

cars can be fixed/be bought again.
People cannot.

As I was crying about my car, I realized that its just a material item that wont last on this earth.
I met this girl on Google+ who in 2009 beat cancer. She was just diagnosed with lung cancer and doesnt have much time left. She is happy with her life, and re-enforces positive thoughts. This just blew me away. I'm over here crying about a car while she is happy and hasnt even lived a long life.

I was coming home Thursday morning, and I was going to fast for a right hand turn.
I understeered right into a curb.
meaning the car went straight, instead of turning.

LOL! funny! that was first thing I thought too.
"MAN!!! I just replaced that radiator too!"

she is at the car hospital now.
waiting for the adjuster to estimate how much damage occurred.

of course.

and to my eyes; Airbag, airbag sensor, seatbelt sensor, front bumper, radiator.
maybe about 5K in damages.

no telling what they will find when they lift the car up.

Glad to hear you are ok, thats the most important thing. These things suck but I'm glad you have put them into perspective. Time to make lemons into lemonade and get the Type S front put on.

Man, it hurts to look at those pics. The best thing is that you can joke around about it. I'm glad you're okay. It sucks that it happened and there's really nothing else to do but go forward from this point and keep it positive.

Glad to hear that your ok, and in good spirits. I guess now on the bright side you can get an type-s or 07-08 base front courtesy of the insurance company.

Ouch. At least you are ok

Good luck with the repairs. Did you see something blurry in your vision? Sometimes when I stretch after sitting still for a while I see little fuzzy sparkly things. I call them eye crabs. Definitely make you blind for a sec or two.

Damn sorry to see that man. Hey just out of curiousity from what you can see is the only damage cosmetically the front bumper? From what I can see it seems like everything is nice and intact including, fenders, headlights, hood etc etc.
Is the car driveable right now or did you nail the curb hard and mess up the wheels and suspension?

I agree with others a Type S front bumper would look real nice. Only thing is if you do that your gonna have to convert to a Type S headlight as well as I think it would look kind of goofy to have Type S front end, but then the chrome headlights (and 04-06 style ones at that).

Wow, glad you're ok.

E-brake next time lol.

Once she's up and running again, go a turn firmer on the rear Konis (you have Konis, right?)

Good luck with it. I know the feeling.

Sorry to hear about this bro. I was waiting for this thread. I heard about this in WEDT. Glad you are OK. Might as well see how much the Type S upgrade will cost you. I'm hoping you don't have any frame damage. Good luck. Get her fixed, then put on the goodies you already ordered for her.

I drove, so I'm assuming axles were intact. I peeked underneath the car, everything seems intact.
wont know until adjuster comes and tells me whats good.

It should be a different story next time. With the bigger RSB and the rears set firmer than the front, the rear should rotate a little when you hit the limit.

It sucks the airbag deployed as well.

I know that's not what you want to talk about right now though. That car looks super clean from what I can see. It doesn't look like a daily driver. Too many clean places that even a well taken care of daily should be dirty.

FWIW, I really like the front end it has on it.....pre-wreck of course lol. That's a very nice looking TL. This was with the NT05s on?

I believe the Nittos were cold!! it was a short ride home, air pressure probably 33-34!!!

and thats what makes it worse or more fun depending on how you look at it; It isnt a daily!
