Osram Xenarc Cool Blue Intense Lamps/Osram Cool Blue Lamps

I am in the market for new low beam headlamps. I bought a Hella Micro DE Fog Lamp Kit to replace my road lamps with. The low beams require D2R bulbs; I would like to go with Osram Xenarc Cool Blue Intense Lamps [http://www.osram.com/osram_com/Profe...NSE/index.html]. The fog lamp kit requires H3 bulbs; I would like to go with Osram Cool Blue Lamps [http://www.osram.com/_global/pdf/Pro.../110PPS04E.pdf] to match the Osram Xenarc Cool Blue Intense Lamps in the low beams. However, I am having a difficult time locating them

Where do you guys recommend purchasing these bulbs? Do any of you have experience with these bulbs? Thanks in advance for your help!

Is that a direct replacement for our oem bulbs??? Sorry for dumb question but I'm still new to Honda/Acura stuff...

My driver side low beam has trouble turning on with the first attempt. I have to turn off headlights then flick it back on to lite it up. Does anyone have a similar problem? Any solutions???

You could be having an issue with the ballasts, not the bulbs. Switch the bulbs right to left and see if the issue follows the bulb.

And no, those arent the OEM bulbs. OEM is a Phillips bulb, I dont remember the model number but I think it may be 85126.

I also found them on eBay [http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/US-DI...m=390283615276] and this site [http://aftermarket-bulbs-shop.amazon...source=froogle]. However, I want to buy them from an authorized Osram/Sylvania dealer.

I can't find the H3 Cool Blue Lamps from any U.S. Distributors, only from foreign countries directly [e.g. http://www.svetila.com/en/h3-12v-55w...blue-4031.html]. Any suggestions?

I had the same issue with my driver side low beam headlamp. I installed a new D2R bulb, and the flicker went away.

Osram is selling the bulbs in the link I posted. The problem is that price is for one bulb.

Contact Matt at The Retrofit Source and ask if he has any.

In that link it states, "Ships from and sold by MotiveMods."

I will contact Matt; hopefully he has some in stock or can at least get his hands on them for me Thanks!

Was thinking of paying a visit to DDM tuning in Huntington beach to pick up some of their D2R bulbs since I've bought HID's, replacement bulbs, interior led lights from em. Was very happy with there service/price/warranty

I contacted The Retrofit Source, and this is the response I received:

"Thanks for the inquiry and patience waiting on a response.

Unfortunately, we don't stock CBIs and they're rather difficult to come by.

If we can be of any additional assistance don't hesitate to ask!"

Getting my hands on some CBI's doesn't look to promising. Thus, I am looking at some other options. I am considering going with some KAIXEN D2C - 8500K (Crystal Blue) bulbs...

I was actually going to buy replacement HID bulbs and a HID kit from DDM Tuning until I read the scam floating around about them [http://projectlancer.net/index.php?showtopic=13050]. I don't know if it's true or not, but I don't want to take the risk.

I havent used them.

If for some reason I can't get Osrams or Phillips, I get Morimotos, but I dont think they have any D2R bulbs.
