Hi guys, the brakes are now installed in the car. I don't joke around when I say " this brakes stop on the dime" took it for a spin yesterday after the installed to get the brakes bedded. I've to admit I was a little skeptical about the RED calipers but I like it how it look on white.

 

Any fitment issues? Spacers needed?

 

Actually to my surprise no spacers were needed and I still have about 5/8 inch clearance from the inner spoke of the rim. The installed was plug and play. The only part that was completely removed was the dust cover shield.

 

Front grill looks much better blacked out.

Hey saw you on 270 Tues night, cars looking good I was in my Wife's MDX I ended up buying a 07 M35X Love the M hope to see ya again maybe a M/RL shoot once i start buttoning up my mods.

 

That's great!! next time honk...it must be last Tuesday you saw me as the RL been in the garage all week. Sure we can do a photoshoot when the weather gets better.

 

When the weather gets better it would be sweet to see a video with rolling shots of this beautiful RL and yes go lower on the coils before the video.

Gotta say this looks like a ricer car, I think you should have bought a better car kit............. Like stock! honestly the car would have looked better the way it was made. The wood was a nice touch, but to me an Acura should be stock since its a over glorified Honda

 

I wish I can lower it more but unfortunately I don't have a flat garage entrance, also my office parking is on a hill so I'm afraid to scrape the front spoiler plus my wife drives the RL. Once the weather gets hot I will do a video.

Nah! supercharger will be too much. I've been thinking on upgrading the bass on the stereo and that's about it. Also been thinking on selling the RL for something else by the end of the year but that's just thinking on cloud right now. Nothing 100% for sure.

Thank you for your honest opinion but I never like " stock " vehicle regardless of make. I always make them unique to my own taste and at same time getting the classic look. In regards to the body kit I think is all matter on taste and I never like the OEM body kit and that's the reason I choose Mugen.

any audio / video clips of your exhaust? i'd be curiosu how it sounds at idle and cruising...both from inside the car and outside.

Thank you....the black trim cost me about $989.00...Keep in mine there's a small trim that goes where the radio end and that's part of the radio so I took the piece out and painted piano black to matches the rest of the trim. I love my brakes it will stop on the dime which I put on the real test once.
