Because you're selling an item which fits the same description as to what is on the website for the same price. Black Market tries to be fair with all transactions for both buyer and seller. Many people have done this before; check previous posts.

I didn't accuse you of overcharging for something; I simply asked a question as I am also in the market for new tail lights and I was trying to determine the difference between your DEPO lights and the ones on the site. Since you have confirmed they are not the same items as what you're selling then you can ask the mods to remove the posts if they offend you that much.

 

I thought OEM was Honda/Acura made, and depo was not, so I need to ask what exactly does "depo" mean?

Is it a manufacturer or is it a generic term for anything not OEM?

 

Ill help you out Ron. There is OEM, DEPO and eagle eyes. Everyone...stay away from eagle eyes. These are the worst made tail lights I have ever seen and i've seen better talent from my girlfriends 6 year old sister. OEM is directly from Honda. Depo is another term for after market, BUT there are many companies that offer this product and quality differs from company to company. I have seen garbage Depo tail lights and reputable companies make really nice looking ones. They range from $130-$160 plus shipping depending on where you get them. Think of it as switchbacks, they all serve the same purpose, but there are over 10 different companies that offer them.

OP, that website is irrelevant because yes they are "depo" but the price is still a lot higher then what he is selling them for. They get you by "add +$15 for type-s style plus shipping). I don't like that website for personal reasons.

All in all, his price is good and he is an honest seller as I have worked with him in the past.

 

I will say that he is fair on price and responds to PM's quickly.

FWIW, I actually have OEM type S tails and do love em...and a set of the "ghost tails" they sell on the USR website that are stamped "DEPO" also and the quality on them seemed good to me...fitment was fine too. Customer service and shipping were super slow but I think they are out of Canada so who knows?!

That said, I personally wouldn't NOT buy these because they aren't OEM.
