Right now the filter is down in the passenger side of the bumper, attached to a 2" PVC 90* elbow. I think that may be a bit too restrictive. I had the K&N just sitting behind the front headlight duct taped to the 3" PVC piece and I think it was better like that. Well, give me some suggestions. I need to paint it, anyone know how to paint PVC? Special paint or something?
OUTSTANDING!

I just found out the OZ 17" wheels won't fit the Brembo kits.

But...I found out the 17" SSR Competitions will fit the kit and are beautiful. Not only that, they weigh 12.9 lbs!!!

So here they are:

Anyone want to vote no? Didn't think so...

I wonder who is going to be ordering wheels soon?

Yeah, UTA sucks, but it's free. It will come back up sooner or later. Maybe I'm using up too much of their bandwidth with all my pics.

Nice. I just sold my SLR and bought the Canon S30 Digicam and 128MB CF card (I hate CF), but the camera is ranked as one of the best and so far, the image quality is unbelieveable.

Thanks danny. Yeah, there was no way in hell I would put all clears on my Max. I didn't get a chance to get them done this weekend, but I did get the chance to put my Brembo Cross Drilled & Slotted rotors on ! I stop sooooo much better now. Just had to mention that.

A Maxima buddy of mine got the chance to make it to the Honda meet sat night and claimed it was a fairly big turnout. He got to meet a guy that reconditions Skylines, and brought one to the meet. I was a bit too busy chillin in Lower Greenville, but i'm kinda disappointed.

Sounds cool, that's a 3mp camera right? What's wrong with CF cards?

Thanks Inferno, I've just barely scratched the surface with photoshop, I need to find a class at the local community college that teaches it or something like that.

oops, i hadn't checked this site for a while... I bought my own. I figured out that that electric supercharger site just sells in-line blowers for boats, to expell gas fumes. So I went to West Marine and bought one for $29.99 instead of paying $299...

If anyone is good with electric motors or anything and knows how to maybe swap the little motor in my blower and but a bigger/more powerful motor in lemme know. Or if anyone is interested in helping me play with this lemme know. The motor on it right now is 7 amps, i forget how many watts, not too many, but it blows 240cfm of air. I wish it did more and it would be cool to have a bigger engine for it to blow more...

They are just kind of big in comparrison to SD/MMC. Plus, I wanted a camera that used the same cards as my wireless phone so I could just take the card out of the camera, stick it in my phone, and email it wirelessly (got to love the 7135).

But oh well, here is a pic at medium resolution (1600x1200, low compression but not raw), first night with new camera:

[pick removed for the bandwidth challenged]

It also does automated panoramic stiching, allowing you to take one shot, keep it in view, and take as many additional shots, lining it up on the display. It works up, down, side to side, and all of the above.

Yeah, I was impressed. I can bump it to high quality for like 22xx by 16xx or something. At the medium setting like above I can ft 123 images. It does 320x240 videos too, but thats what my DV camcorder is for @720x480.

So whats up fellas. How about a gathering in the near future? Maybe some car talk in the p-lot at a hooters somewhere with some brews shortly there after?

I vote for a spot centralized in the Irving/Grapevine area so everyone has somewhat of an equal driving distance.

Ya know my a$$ is always up for a meet! If we plan in a fair amount of time I'm sure I can get DuckBlue to come along...

For those of you that remember, I saw that 1st gen 3.0 CL again last night as he was driving through a parking lot. I kinda tried to flag him down but didn't try very hard, so I didn't care. I figure he lives in the Richardson area. Gotta meet this guy!!!!

Oh well, meet sounds good and I agree with the location seeing as how we gots a lot of people who live out in BFE Arlington j/k.

I don't know about this weekend since no one else has chimed in yet.

I am trying to get this in Irving or Grapevine so us on the West side have an equal distance to drive. Lewisville makes it a solid hour drive for me.

This weekend could work for me, but if we plan ahead for one down the road we'll get a bigger turnout. Once everyone here chimes in on what's good for them, we can pick a good time and place.

Grapvine Mills Mall? I'm only familiar with that and Bass Pro shops over in that area. I only know Denton/Lewisville/Arlington pretty well.
