I wanted to know too. The pictures you find are so small you can't tell what is different or where the carbon fiber is.

because its $400 for something that offers nothing but looks, and imo, ruins steering/grip feel.

 

Carbon fiber Type-S steering wheel. Sorry if its not a great picture, it was my first pic of it. I been wanting to find the time to take a better picture of it, ill be sure to post when that happens.

 

Actually, it does not ruin the steering grip. It's definitely better than the stock leather feel because it doesn't make your hand feel all sweaty...and u gotta love the luxury feel of it..It also goes great with my carbon fiber interior

 

Here you go. Wanted to do this for a long time. I really like it. Hey I spent at least $4k on cosmetic mods that do nothing and are good for nothing but looks, why stop now?

 

I just got mine installed tonight. I will post up pictures tomorrow.

aspec is thicker and functional. I can't find a pic of it though. Search feature on the new site = failboat.

 

I was partial to the CF one for a long time because it matched the interior. But lately.....I am really starting to like the A-Spec one. It has grown on me. I bet it is mostly because my car is all A-Spec's out and that is the only thing missing now.

I like the A-spec steering too and its the only thing missing for my aspec package aswell...but for the price i wish it was a little more thicker. Is there a possibillity to wrap the stock one professionaly to make it much thicker.

 

Damn That looks like a eBay steering wheel. Or is it just the picture quality, No disrespect BlkAspec. Going just from the pics i would go for the Carbon Fiber. It can also be that i don't like the blue stitching.

Try Findlay Acura he might have one left. He is liquidating his inventory and if he has any left I think the price was $229-299 but a great price either way.

I wish the 2007-2008 steering wheels had some more carbon fiber on the bottom of the wheel, like the 2006's. That's what has kept me from purchasing one. For almost $400, you're getting a slice of carbon fiber along the top of the steering wheel for the 2007-2008's.

I think the 06 and earlier CF steering wheel looks nicer with the top and bottom CF. I dont know why they couldnt have kept it that way with the 07 and up.
