HID fogs-installed!

One of the easiest mods Ive done to date..roughly a 30 minute job

First a couple exterior shots: (Im no photographer, so take it easy)

And a couple from inside the car:

fogs OFF, headlights ON:

fogs ON, headlights ON:

2 year warranty. Plug and play kit...very simple to install.

will you post or tell me where a pic is of this? i'd like to see what it looks like - i'm assuming you have 4300 in the heads and 6000 in the fogs?

OP - looks very good. amazing how easy the install is. i have the 3000 kit with yellow rockblocker film and love the look it gives to the road! do the alternate fog mod and you're set with perfect running lights just before / at dusk!

So much light on the road lol.

I got 3000K for my fogs and I love it. When i just got done opening up my head lights again and resealing them, I didn't want to turn on my head lights so the sealant could cure. Drove with just the fogs on and it was bright enough already. I can just imagine how bright it would be with the 4300K on the fogs.

Thanks! I was considering the LED route-but couldnt pass up HID for roughly the same price.

Thanks! For some reason my camera made them look blue. In person, they are a spot on match to the headlights.

Thanks! While I do like the look of the "running lights" fog mod, I have always been a fan of just parking lights and fogs at the same time. I might change it later.

I like the way it looks on other cars, but personal preference for me is matching my headlight color.

Thanks! I would have already had pics up if not for the idiot I ordered the shocks from. He keeps dicking me around about when they shipped. Swears up and down they shipped out last Thursday-and yet FedEx shows they havent even been picked up. Pisses me off....It was 65 today and this was the day I had planned on installing them. Oh well..hopefully the shocks will be here soon and it warms a little next week. Shes gettin dropped soon as I get shocks

Looks good, but make sure you don't aim them too high or you will blind on-coming drivers

Looks great, if you haven't already, you may want to consider aiming them down a little because HIDs in our fog housing throw light very far as you have noticed...aiming them down will still give you plenty of light where you need it, but will reduce glare for oncoming traffic....welcome to the HID Fog club!!

^^sorry, forgot to add. My glare was pretty strong with my Phillips 4100K HID bulbs, so I got a very small piece of white 3M electrical tape and placed it on the top center of the lens housing. My car is WDP, so it blends in perfectly but that little 1/2" piece of tape blocks all the upward glare for the most part and I am no longer being flashed, but it still lights up the night...my ATL peeps will tell you lol

Im running the old mod. They only come on with parking lights or low beams. Turn off when on high beam.

Thanks.

sounds like a good idea...do they make 3m tape in SSM? lol

so you put the tape in the center, but right at the top of the glass? I havent had a chance to drive it at night, but have a feeling ppl are going to think theyre too bright. Thanks for the tip

I dont have any pictures of my set up but here's a picture of VoLLy's car with 6000k fogs.

You can see a slight difference between them.
