November 5, 2008=Sad day

Even the sky was crying..... On this day I returned my S2000 to it's rightful owner, Honda Financial Services. The lease has ended. I'll be missing you!

OK, I'm over it....

Sooooo.....Up next...Bmw (?)

They didn't tell me that I needed to, so I didn't do it.

I did not do any modifications that couldn't be reversed, so I left it. All I did was tint the windows, added XM to the car (I could have taken the module out, but I drilled a hole in the trunk to mount the HUGE antenna it came with, so I just left it), and added a lumbar support into the driver's seat, which I took out.

I did more to the GTI (suspension, etc), which I plan to take out as the lease end nears.

Remember, remember, the fifth of November.

As a fellow S2k owner I am curious which BMW you are considering, I am always planning for my next car(any beyond) and know what I would buy from BMW tomorrow if my S2k met its demise.

I don't live under a rock you know

Just a PITA IMO... but then again I'm more into performance mods, some of which aren't exactly the easiest to change back to stock. Wheels, fine, intake or exhaust, fine. But headers, chip/reflash/ECU, clutch components, etc =

Great driving car, but I don't like the way it looks. I'd rather spend a few bucks more and get a 3 series.

In terms of what I am considering, that would be either a 328 or 335 coupe or sedan. My friend is going to look into something for me to see if he can steal one for me for a great price (a demo perhaps). I would definately consider an M3, but i'm more optimistic that he'll find me a better deal on the 328/335. I may go way off from that and get a JCW Mini Cooper too. We'll see. I have my GTI to use now until that lease is up (in 10 mos), and would probably get rid of it early if he finds me something good. Until then I'm going to sit tight!

I went from the S2000 to the M Roadster. Aside from the gearbox, the M Roadster feels better in most every way. Handling is comparable in both.

I got my hands on a demo 650 convertible in stick. The lease price is VERY tempting, but I just caaaaaaaan't do it....I won't get into details, but try 30 month lease with NY tax included for under $800 per month....Maaaaaaaaan! I'm trying to offer it to one of my customers but if he doesn't go for it, I just might........................

Damn. Thats awesome.

What about a used one with an extended Warranty. This one has only 27k and its under 40 Grand. Getting a 7 year warranty you are good till 2012. Plus you miss the first year deprecation hit.
