Well I traded in the CL a week ago but was able to pull a few of the things I added out. I really wish I had more time as the CompTech headers, pullies, exhaust and rims were left on the car. any legit gains with the uni chip?

 

I never had my car Dyno'ed but I could feel the difference. I know a couple of respected members on here have them installed. Do a search through the forums as it will probably give you a better idea of what you can expect. According the the unichip website the gains for a car with Intake, Headers, exhaust and pullies would see a 22.5 HP and 16.9TRQ gain. I am not sure how close those are to real world numbers.

what are these for?

 

The Type S acutator is used when you install the Type-S upper intake manifold and Type-S throttle body on a CL-P. It it what opens up the divider between the two intake chambers on a Type-S. It can be used as a replacement for a damaged one on an S as well.

The RPM switch is again used for the above mod. Since the CL-P does not have the computer programming or instructions to open the flap you need to control it with an RPM switch. The switch splices in to your RPM signal wire, it then has an open circuit. You can set the device to close that circuit when you reach a specified RPM and then to open it again when you go below it.

 

is the sri still up for grabs? can it fit on a 2nd gen tl-s

 

If you are referring to the Intake yes it is, I also have an AEM one in my closet but I need to pull it out.

 

is your AEM intake SRI or CAI? will it fit 02 tl-s ? give a price

 

The AEM is CAI but it is for a P so it wont fit on your car. I cant remember if the SW intake is for a P or S as I havent had it on in a while and at one point I was running a Type-S throttle body. I can measure the diameter when I get home and will know then.

 

The Secret Weapon SRI will fit any 2001-2003 TL/CL type-S.

Like I said as I find more stuff laying around I will add it. I came across my Service manual which is good used condition, and am looking to get $30 plus shipping. This is the shop manual that the Honda/Acura techs use not the ones you find at an auto parts store. Brand new I think it was over $80.
