Philips Germany 85126 D2R Bulbs 4300K

Selling a pair of Philips 85126 D2R 4300K Bulbs. Purchased these about 5 months ago to replace worn out bulbs.

Reason I am selling because I recently downgraded to 6000K aftermarket bulbs. I am asking $50 shipped + 3% PayPal fee.

PICS:

Please pm me with any questions. Thanks for looking!

85122 is a D2S bulb
85126 is a D2R bulb

Off the bat D2S has higher light output than D2R

from the automotive lighting faq:

D2S: 3200lm, 4250K, 91lm/W, 35W
D2R: 2800lm, 4150K, 80lm/W, 35W

This is a little misleading actually. Maybe someone can chime in with the complete information, but the D2S bulbs are for 2004 (possibly 2004-2006?) and I would assume the D2R bulbs would appear to be for newer TL's. It's just a different type of bulb/connection.

As for your output comparison - technically speaking, they should be the same output provided they are both 4250k bulbs. Your comparison just says that a 4250k bulb puts out more light than a 4150k bulb (has nothing to do with D2S vs D2R)

D2R is made for reflectorized housing, in the early days of HID not all cars had projectors so they were using these bulbs. These bulbs were made for older cars.

Lower kelvin bulbs usually output more light than a higher kelvin one. The light output dropoff was huge when I downgraded to a 6K bulb.

Here is the link to the faq if you're interested.

Sorry not really looking for trades.

Bulbs are about 6 months old, drove my car approx. 4000 miles since with very low night usage.
