2009 TSX Reliability
Hello Everyone,
I am considering a 2009 TSX with 82,000 miles. I have heard great things about all Acuras and Hondas, aside from some negative remarks in regards to the transmission in older TLs and Accords. From what I hear, the first generation TSX is rock solid reliable and does not suffer from these problems, but I have not been able to find much on the 2nd generation TSX. Is the 2009 TSX as reliable as the first generation of cars? Any major common issues such as transmission or engine failures? Is there anything I should inspect specifically before buying?
Thanks!

I've had my '09 TSX 2.4 auto since 2012, it was certified pre-owned, I bought it with 33,000 miles on it. I'm at around 92,000 now and no problems at all. The engine is just breaking in at around 80,000 miles. I noticed a nice performance boost right around there. These are port injected motors so it does benefit from a good redline on a regular basis. Since i've had mine i decided i wanted to get the most out of it, so I drive mine, but i also take care of it and plan to own it a very long time. The only real noticeable rattle i have is from the buttons on the key. I also live in Az and we have very good roads here.
