Dear Acura-Tl.com users:
Today I purchased a 2001 Laguna Green with Navi, which I will pick up next week. I finally did this after pining for the car since it changed to the new style in 1999.
I have been a daily visitor to this site for over a year. It has been both entertaining and educational. I have learned a great deal about the TL, the good and, sometimes, the bad. And yes, I'll probably be mighty darned annoyed if they do a March 2001 release of the 2002, with memory seats and in-dash CD changer, but those are the breaks. I fully expect that it will still be a great car as is, and will provide me with many years of excellent survice.

Live and enjoy your car. Waiting for the latest and greatest is like waiting for the greatest computer to hit the market. 486? Pentium 90, no..P133 no..P166. My point is that the technology and the improvement will continue to change. You will be waiting forever. Near future changes in addition to 6 in-dash and memory seats may include
(1) speed sensor cruise control that detects the car infront of you braking,
(2) vibrating massaging seat,
(3) voice activated navigation system,
these technology currently exist and can be incorporated easily into existing TLs.. the question is weather you can still purchase it for $29,995?
my advise is to buy it, be happy and trade up in a few years.

Congratulations!! I can't wait to get my TL. I have the luxury of being able to wait until March to see if anything new is coming out. However, I must say that reading and participating in this site is making me more and more anxious to get my TL!!
