Unhappy Seat heater issue has turned into Seat adjustment issue.

I used one of the DIY's to fix my seat heater. Worked out GREAT! Now when I put the seat back in the car....the seta heater works, the seatbelt light/switch works, the SRS light goes out, but the damn seat will not adjust/move. I've checked every fuse I can think of and connector under the seat. I spent an hour looking for te shop manual online and all I could find was the 02-03 RSX... Oh yeah, I have an 03 TL Type S.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Are you sure you connected all the wire plugs correctly? I accidentally switched the two plugs by the seat adjustments, and this of course made the adjustments not work. The plugs are identical in appearance, so its easy to do this unless you number each plug prior to taking them apart. If thats not it, then not sure...

i can't recall the colors... i think there were 3 plugs in that vicinity, one was "color A" and the other 2 were "color B" and i got the color B ones confused. I think thats how it was....

Did you disconnect the battery before unplugging the seat?

If the waiting a few days method does not fix the problem-
I would take a drive to the dealer and ask the Service MANAGER what to do
He/She can go right out in the shop and ask the tech that does their seat repairs

Sounds like you forgot to plug in a wire. Pull the seat back out and double check that you got all the wires connected. That would be the only reason it doesnt work. Go back with the seat out and double check that there isnt any thing thats not plugged in.

Cool beans! Went to the good ol' Acura dealership. Explained my problem. The drivers side seat switch has twi female harnesses that come off of it. The Blue harness that hangs off by itself plugs in the front near your feet. there are two wires left, a gray and blue, there is also a blue male harness that is on the same side to the rear. The GRAY one goes into that and the blue female goes into the switch harness.

The tech told me two switch the gray and the blue (i told him that it was in wrong) while that battery is still connected. It worked immediately. he said that the computer locked out that particular system and the battery needed to be connected to clear it out.

So all in all, I'm good.
