Question about removing the gauge cluster

Is there a chance when I go to remove the cluster that the airbags would go off? I have heard stories of this happening in other cars when the cluster was either unplugged or plugged back in.

Research some of the previous related threads on the subject.
If in any doubt, disconnect the battery power or fuse before proceeding.

No, i have removed mine 20-30 times, even with the key turned to the run position on occasion. For safety its always recommended to disconnect the battery.
