The lip looks cleaner just like the oem lip vs. Wing for the 3rd gen. I had a buddy order the lip for his 02 TL. It was 28 bux. He's getting it painted this week. It's a very clean look.

Im taking my M3 lip off and going to buy another one that is larger (untrimmed edges) so that i can have it taper off on the edge of the car (using my existing one to cut and taper).

I'm thinking those are already painted? Thats not a bad price if it is. Here is the unpainted one for $15 bux.

Here's one painted to match your car 4 base coats/3 clearcoat for $19 bux.

I hope this helps you a little .

where did you catch that m3 spoiler from? I was rear ended, my oem spoiler was damage, gonna have the shop just leave it off and fill the holes.

That OEM spoiler just doesnt look right anymore with a 37y/o driver with a kid's seat in the back.

I got it from a seller on ebay. I don't know the name since it was so long ago. But I measured the rear window and asked for a custom length. Then I just rounded the edges to fit the profile of the back window and painted it black.

prepainted Lip spoiler... from EBAY

I needed to jazz up a G2 TL for a teenager (note the "bright" pinstripes!) so I got this prepainted Lip Spoiler from EBAY from super.seller2008.
I think the Lip looks more modern and less "bulbous" than the OEM wing.

Nice work, the stripes are rather outstanding. Perhaps the teenager would've enjoyed the "more bulbous" wing ! Most younger owners prefer more brighter body colors than the gold.

haha... yeah, you got that right!
Naples Gold was probably our teenager's "LAST" choice in colors.
But when you get a relatively low mileage TL for a cheap price from a grandparent you get what you get!

Back in my more youthful teenage days, not only did I want a bright color......but, the car had to be a two door coupe. It seems these days that big trucks and suv's are now predominantly the vehicle of choice for the younger guys.

Realistically, taking over grandpa's sedan is not only getting what you get, it's more like knowing what you're getting.....a win, win for everybody !
