So what performance parts are interchangeable with the 99-01 Accord V6 with my 99 TL? Just exhaust? Are the pulleys, headers, cam gears(if any)electronics (chips, etc), etc compatible with no or very little modifications? Are the prices the same or cheaper?

Lots... almost everything that fits an accord V6 will fit a TL with a little bit of imagination and extra cash in some cases.

Axle back exhausts, pulleys, (no cam gears out yet), headers, intake (just about).

Catback exhausts require some modification from a muffler shop. Not terribly difficult.

The Apex-i VAFC is supposed to be for an accord V6, but works fine with the TL.

Can't think of too much more. Anyone?

Jet chip has a mod for the TL.

GIMMICK

You've forgot about suspension upgrades - these are performance parts for the turns. I believe the Accord and the TL use the same sway bars. Also true coilovers like the Apexi WS dampner for the Accord will work on the TL. I'm pretty sure the strut bar for the Accord will also work on the TL.

Yeah that's very true gimmick, I forgot about that. Yes as gimmick said, coilovers, springs, and swaybars are most likely compatible.

What I would look for though as something that may not fit is a part made exclusively for the Inline 4 accord and not the V6. Like Neuspeed's front lower tie bar: Its availble for the 4 cyl, but not the 6. So it prolly does NOT fit the TL.


Also while yes, some parts may fit, installation and other minor details may not line up exactly.

For instnace the rear suspension is a little different. In the accord, you can get to the springs from the trunk, which is a good thing. Relatively easy access. But with the TL, you have to take out the back seat to get to the springs.
