I had 38k on my 01 CL-S when I sold it for the 6 speed. I changed the fluid every 15k and had no problems.

118,000 on tranny #1, still works perfect, 00TL-P. Changed the fliud every 25K.

I had 77,500 miles on my first tranny before it went.......I dropped it off to get a new tranny on thursday and I just got back from picking it up this morning......it shifts so nice now compared to the way it used to be........I hope this one can hold a little giggle gas

the tranny problems start with the 2000 and higher TL's. The 99 have a 4 speed and the 2000+ have acura's 5 speed which is where the design flaw is.

I had 34k on mine when I lost it.

yeah 99 trannies dont seem to have this flaw, weird thing is when my tranny went out it wouldnt go into 5th gear anymore...

I don't know if this is true or not but I know of at least two 99 TLs with tranny problems.
