Having issues with the gearshift getting stuck in park
I am recently experiencing problems with the gearshift getting stuck in Park. No matter how hard I press the brake pedal it just won't budge. Until finally with many attempts of pressing the brake pedal it moves. Other times when I first get in the car it works with no issues at all. Any ideas on how to fix this?

You likely have an issue with the interlock. There is a latch that prevents the shifter from changing out of park unless the brake is pressed. Look on the bezel around the shifter, you'll see a small cover. Pop the cover out and you can stick a thin stick (like a pen refill or bamboo skewer) and manually disengage the lock. If that works, then you have an issue with the interlock and not some other linkage.

Yes, manually disengages works.
But I noticed that my brake lights do not light up when I press on the brake pedal and that's when I have issues with the gearshift. And when they actually do light up, I can easily shift into drive.
So the brake lights do not engage when I press on the brake pedal.
At first, I had to press hard on the brake pedal for the gearshift to work, now that's not working anymore. So now I have to manually disengage the lock.
I read that it can the a fuse blown out or maybe event the bulbs. But then that would mean all three bulbs burned out which I don't think is the issue. I think wiring or a blown fuse..
