EBC makes a good rotor but we're still a firm believer that the STOPTECH brakes are the best bang for the buck. They're durable, machined properly, properly coated, and they perform well.

I'm on the fence between racing brake and powerslot.... been using oem Brembo and they are good, dust is there but manageable imo. Anything more and I'd dislike it I suppose.

Thanks for a great series of posts. I love picking up very helpful info that gets added into these threads, and it's really great when the sponsors jump in with added technical help.
In the NW we have warped rotor issues on these cars. I'm told the hot metal going through large cold puddles in the winter, warps them? Anybody have this problem in perhaps the snow or cold wet conditions? The actual metal distortion is very small, but you can feel it in the peddle as the pads wear down.

^ Our warp issue comes from the heavy Brake Bias on the TL, Which is 80/20 and the fact we use a single pot front caliper doesn't help either..
You are going to warp any cheap rotors guaranteed you need to get serious aftermarket rotors or
get the Legend Calipers to stop the warp-palooza..

I agree with Skirmich - The 2G TL's brake problems can be solved by better rotors and the right brake pads for those rotors. I've had EBC's Sport rotors since June 2010. They're dimpled and slotted. I'm on my second set of EBC Redstuff pads now. I've never had any rotor-warping issues with this rotor/pad combo. I've never had to turn the rotors. I've put on 45k miles on these rotors and I live in the PNW too (Oregon).
