Water leak!!!!!!! HELP

It rained all day yesterday and I notice water started to drip from the passenger side area where the windshield meets the roof at corner. The car has been out in tv rain many times before and many car washes. Wha could be causing it now with light to moderate rain. Any ideas b4 I take it to the stealership?

Have you replaced your windshield recently? I had that happen on my old accord where the installer didn't properly apply sealant and it leaked. I would try and find out where the exact location of the leak is and see if you could apply sealant or if there are any deterioration on the weather strip.

Thanks titomang. I took a second look and notice that the windshield weather strips are loose where they meet at the roof line which is where the water is dripping from.

A number of people have found the leak coming from the moon roof drain holes. On mine the tubing which runs down the inside of the pillar had come adrift and the water was coming in near the top of the pillar. You can test it by pouring water down the hole.

Mine was dislodged when I had the windshield replaced, I worked out what the problem was and took it back to the dealer to be done under warranty. I do know they did it from the inside without removing the windshield again but sorry can't help further. It do remember it did take quite a few weeks to dry the carpets out.

It can also be that those drains are clogged. You can clear them with compressed air. Then run water down them again and make sure they drain.

After two weeks of back and forth between the dealer who claims it's a leak in the glass seal and the glass shop who states it's not the lass, I have discovered that the leak is a result of a small rust underneath the plastic roof linning on the passenger side. Does anyone know if there is a rust warranty for these vehicles and what could cause rusting in such a hidden in tampered area.

I also had this problem today. Water in the drivers side A-pillar. Took it to my Honda mechanic who took apart the interior and checked all four drain holes. Could not find the problem. He also checked the seal under the roof rail. Windshield is original. I'll drive it into a ditch before I take it to the dealer. Right now don't know what to do about it. I do park pointed uphill. Is it possible that it clogged and then cleared itself? Had lots of rain overnight and this morning. More is due later I think.

Shaharm try removing the linning on the roof above where the door closes. Check to see if there is rust underneath it. In my case it was the rust that caused the water to leak. I used rubber kulk to seal it but I have not test it in the rain yet as I am currently in vacation.
