Honda Legend Grill
alright, i just picked up my car from the bodyshop, they were able to install the front and rear Amuse kit, but the side requires the stock skirt and i'm waiting on one of the members who has the side skirt.

My shifter conversion is a success and i cant be any happier.
I'm lucky that i get a special treatment from my dealer, who installed everything for me.
The shifter conversion isn't as easy as it looked or sounded considering that the RL/Legend are the same vehicle.
The dealer tech took about 7 hours to conclude it and a lot of welding was required.
The shifter is fully operable without the key in the ignition (probably why not used in US) if you aply the brake you can shift freely without the key.
Here are some pictures i took tjis morning.

That shifter looks GREAT! Too bad the shift lock doesn't engage, that's a dealbreaker for me as I have a genius 13-month-old. Knowing him, he'd MacGuyver his way out of his car seat, find the shifter, and press on it, leading to unwanted media attention as he hurt himself or the car.

The shifter does lock, but what i wanted to point at is, the RL shifter requires the key being at least in standby (accessories) for the shifter to move, but the Legend shifter will move whether the key(knob) is turned or not ONLY WHEN THE BRAKE PADEL IS FULLY PRESSED..
If your son can reach the brake, then you have a problem.

A smart baby like him could probably figure it out. I was only kidding. Is the "brake lock" the way the system engages/disengages in the actual Legend? Or is that the way your installer set it up? I don't know, just curious.
Still looks great!

I am not sure if this video about the Legend has ever been posted here.

Looks like they are not fond of the Legend. In fact, they said some very bad things about it.

Bob, sorry for the repost.
Qatar, I am sure your car is registered as an Acura RL. With all the debadging you have done to it, do you think you might be able to contest (or even better ... get out of) a parking or moving violation ticket since the police have no idea it is really an Acura?

Last time i parked in old town Alexandria and my meter was broken.
I reported it, but it wasnt dispatched to the enforcer who i found standing next to my car buzzled, he told me if i would tell him what kind of car it was, he'll let me be. He ran my VIN which came under Acura, but everything on the car said Honda.
I got this off Acura-canada website regarding the cooled seats conversion.
"An additional measure of sumptuous driver and passenger comfort comes from the standard heated front seats, and available ventilated front seats. Featuring two heat settings, each seat offers a little extra cold-weather comfort. Plus, for warm-weather relief, the front leather seats feature the available benefit of in-seat ventilation. This is just another way the RL meets your every need."
So i contacted North Shore Acura
828 Automall Drive
North Vancouver, BC
V7P 3R8
The parts person informed me that the ventilated seats use the same components as the heated seats, and the vonversion is simple.
well, i dont believe in that till its finalized, so she's faxing me the parts diagram and i'll consult my dealer to determine what i need for the conversion.
wish me luck

I would think that there'd need to be some additional ducting and a vane that guides air to the seats if it taps into the main system. Otherwise, the best situation would be that each seat has a its own fan that mounts onto an existing (empty) bracket, and the wiring harness is ready for it. All you'd need is a new switch.
This seems like such an obvious feature for the US market.

The front seats have their own fans which you can hear when its quiet, especially at full cooling speed (there are 3 levels for cooling). I don't know how it works but I can use the cooling seats even when I turn the A/C off (could it be some kind of thermo-electric cooling ??). The cooling power is not that great, and I think this is why it's called ventilated seats. Its a nice feature though.
