The 2007 RL Acura Supercharger/A-spec/Brake upgrade **PIX+DYNO Pg 1**

I now possess the Acura RL that Acura should have made.

I just added a Comptech Supercharger, A-spec Suspension, Slotted Rotors, More aggressive pads and steel brake lines done by Autowave in Huntington Beach, California.

I now understand why Acura Enthusiasts from the western U.S ship their cars to be worked on at Autowave, these guys know their trade. Shane(Manager) has good ties with the designers at Honda, Comptech, Hondata to make upgrades to your car work as intended.

Autowave is the prefered vendor for Comptechs Supechargers.

The Acura Dealers around town know and have immense respect for their work.
If you are serious about doing upgrades to an Acura this is the place.

And dyno runs.
And did you have to remap the fuel or change injectors, pumps, etc?
Very exciting!

I will post some pictures soon.
CT-Engineering and Collaborate very well to make it work.
With only 2.5 Pressure added the Dyno went from 227 HP to 272HP.
We will increase the pressure to 6.
Currently the car does not haver the lag that it used to have and gets on the freeway much smoother.

I dug a little more into this guy's post history. He's been researching this upgrade for the last coupla months at least, and Autowave is a legit installer.

BIG rep points for the OP if he can give us some evidence!

If it works, it will almost, ALMOST make me wish I'd kept my RL long enough to wait for this.

If it's legit, I wonder how the SH-AWD system will handle the increased power?

how much did the supercharger+install run you?

Dyno sheet would definitely help.

BBKs is the only way to stop a supercharged RL...

yesterday a guy in a Caynne Turbo S pulled up to gas station, those BBKs must have been like 16"s or something.

Filled up $70 worth of regular and drove away, lol!

If someone would post their email, I will send Pictures and the DYNO Sheet to be posted.I have not figured out how to add them on to this web site.

I am a 43 yr old Physician Married with 2 children.
I was a little bored with my car, did not desire to spend $50-70K more to own a car that performs like mine does and has the luxury amenities of an RL.
I am sure if you are on this web site you have read the negatives about the Acura RL, I just fixed those issues for around $10K.
We are told Acura will come out with a car like mine in 2011 with out the all wheel drive and a heafty price tag

Pix hitting my emailbox right now

Cell phone pix, but hey that's better than nothing.
This is no Photoshop. They somehow got the SC to fit in the engine bay. Sorry about the huge picture, will resize after work. Gotta get back to work...

And brakes. Note the slotted rotors.

More of the engine compartment

Look at the SC go all the way across the engine compartment. Wow.

DRUMROLL PLEASE.........

THE DYNO!

Any guesses on what was used to tune the engine? Its just so awesome to see a S/C RL haha. I really think that if we could get 300WHP it would totally transform the RL.

That's it for the pix for now, it appears. We should also have a copy of the dyno sheet shortly.

For one the battery is gone...

I assume it's not appropriate to make fun of the wheels until we see the dyno sheet...
