Here in Ohio, a couple days ago, I was offered a new 2018 AWD w/Technology package for $36,700 plus T&T. I didn't pull the trigger yet because I think it may be likely prices will fall further to clear out the new 2018s. I plan to buy one by July (and keep it a long time). I'm going to keep a close eye on the local inventory and stay in contact with my sales person to see how this plays out for now. Maybe I'm all wet and now is the time to buy it?

It really depends on how bad you want a certain color. I suspect some of the more popular colors will sell out and you will possibly be left with something you don't love. If color isn't an issue, wait it out.

I’ve got an offer of $36600 OTD for a CPO RDX AWD w/ Tech and AcuraWatch. It also has all-weather mats and wheel locks. The vehicls has 6k miles and was a demo unit. Unfortunately I cannot find another model like this in a 300 mike radius and the dealer seems reluctant to move on price.

Any thoughts on how we can push this one lower? Dealer claims they are in it for 36300 becuase of CPO inspection. MSRP w/ destination on a new one would be around $43k.

@Staticz, i would go for it. At 6k miles you have the engine broken in and all early issues, if there were any, were already fixed by the dealer. And practically at 6k miles, this is a brand new car.

Now that the production for MY2019 has started. Are there any special incentives/rebates for MY2018? How much above invoice cost or below MSRP can one expect to get for the top trim Technology/AcuraWatch Plus package?

Thanks.

Are you talking about last gen QX50 or current gen? If you think the 2nd gen RDX is long in the tooth the previous gen QX50 was ancient and so outdated not to mention quite smaller cargo wise. The new QX50 seems nice besides the CVT and the fact that FULLY loaded it comes out to almost $60K!

Normally the best deals are on leases with the manufacture throwing thousands of incentives at you and the dealer. Remember even if you are against leasing you can just lease then buy out the car in cash or finance. In some cases with leasing you can see $3K-$7k in incentives plus whatever you can negotiate. That's a lot of money to leave on the table for not leasing

Extremelty disappointed with the lack of incentives on 2018 RDX. What gives?

The 2018 RDX are discounted, but not great. I got much better quotes for 2017 RDX at same time last year. What gives?? I refuse to pay $2k more than I would have last year for an outgoing dated old model. That is foolish. Maybe they will discount more at end of month, which is end of quarter?

The 2019 looks much better. With the crap discounts on 2018s, I will wait and see how 2019s perform and try to grab a deal at year end.
