Some 2013 RDX AWD Tech Pics from Canadian dealership

The color does not look so bad... but the wood trim does...

Test drove it... I dont know if anyone noticed that the foot brake pad is blocking your left foot in some way.... Also the sterling wheel feels so light....

Thanks for the pics of the wood trim. I was thinking about it but I agree with you, it doesn't look very good. It's not a dark enough wood to go with the black interior. Maybe with the lighter interior but I think if I go with the RDX, the wood option is a no-go.

Arbiterlin...Thanks for the pics. I agree, wood interiors are wrong on so many levels!

One question: Do you know what color this was? Was it the Urban Titanium or the silver? Sometime, it is hard to infer from pics. To my American friends, our colors in Canada are different and Urban Titanium is one available.

One observation: This is one case where a Canadian cluster look better. I find the MPH cluster is too sparse with the numbering and makes it look cheap. Because the metric system puts the cluster up to 260 km/h, it gives the speedometer a more fuller look.
I know it is trivial but I still prefer it.

That's funny, because I feel the opposite. With the Canadian cluster, the needle is so wide that it looks like it fills the entire 5 km/hr space between the markings. I like to know (or think I know, since speedos are rarely spot-on) how fast I'm going. If I want to set the cruise control at 64 in a 55 zone, I think it's easier to gauge with more space between the markings. I guess a lot of it has to do with what you're used to!

It must be

BTW....Arbitelin: Thanks for confirming, I was pretty sure it was but needed to confirm. What do you think of that color in the flesh? I am sold on White and the dealership tol dme that if, by the time my RDX arrives, I want to change my mind on the color, it is not a problem.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE white but intrigued by Urban Titanium and occasionally wondering of Silver would be a better color for ease of maintenance. But, a clean White vehicle looks so nice!

I agree that the Urban Titanium has a more mature/refined look to it. Being over 40 years old myself, I may have to look at it closely *lol* I will have to assess the situation once I go to the dealership to do the deal once the RDX arrives. My dealership is over 4h away so I can't go browse the lot. I know I will not dislike the white so that is my safe and first choice. If they have more in stock when I go, I will check the colors then....if one tickles my fancy, I'll switch then but if none are in stock, I'll stick with the white

Ostrich....I agree, the wood finish accessories are wrong in so many levels! I would never be caught dead having such an atrocity in my RDX. That is the one thing I disliked about the MDX, the wood finish inside. Even though the MDX is better integrated with its wood, wood is still wood for me!

LOL! I am also 40+ so Urban Titanium is better for me too!? LOL!

Arbiterlin and Weather, how is Urban Titanium different from Graphite Luster?

Also, what other Canadian colours are there? How about the interior? The US interior colours are only parchment and ebony - would that be the same for Canada too? I cannot believe that they still don't have the 2013 RDX up on the Acura.ca website!!! So slow....

Ostrich...You must be getting REALLY old because the Acura.ca does have the 2013 RDX on it *LMAO* (teasing in good fun of course).

The difference between "Urban Titanium" and "Graphite Luster" is that Urban has a brownish hue to it while Graphite is a lighter shade of black.

Interior colors are indeed Black or Tan based on the exterior color you get.

Oh my goodness, Weather! I swear that this morning, when I went to the Acura.ca site, they did NOT have the 2013 RDX on it! I swear it was the 2012..... hmm..... OK, not only do I need to get Urban Titanium, I also need to get a vision test and brain check.... the joy of being in the 40's!!! LOL!

Still, I am not old enough to want to have lots of wood trim in my vehicle.... LOL!!! I will leave that to the RX buyers....

BTW, I just noticed one thing - the cargo cover is an OPTION? You need to buy that separately!? Wow, that is annoying.... just like the EX35, huh? That is just very annoying....

No worries buddy, I was just giving you a hard time. That being said, there is a deal at Walmart Pharmacy now that if you buy your Bi-Focals and Viagra, you get a bag of soft peppermint candies (no worries you will damage your dentures) *lol*

I hear you on the cargo cover, it is annoying that one has to pay to get it when it is included in many vehicles like the Rav4. The irony though is that I have had mine in the basement the day I came home from the dealership with my Rav4. I found it annoying, in the way and 95% of the time, the dark tinted window suffice to hide anything in there and I seldom have anything worth that much in the back of the vehicle so bottom line...it is not a big deal for me. But it is the PRINCIPLE of the thing
