Smartkey leather cover

Does anyone have a leather cover for the smart-key? Where can I get one?

That's exactly why I'm looking for a case...don't want to get it damaged

The ebay one is not too bad.

My friend's Lexus RX350 has a case come with it. I thought I'd check with you guys to make sure my dealer forgot to give it to me.

Thanks everyone.

I received them for both Driver 1 and 2 keys. I thought they were hideous, figured the keys would be staying in a pocket or purse 95% of the time exposing them to scratches, looked back at it and thought.. they are hideous.

It's really a nice gesture because a lot of automakers, if any, provide a sleeve like this. I just wished they would use that "extra" money to make fog lights standard on this vehicle..

I've been searching too. The smart keys are slippery and can easily be dropped.
Ebay has a couple....but, one is $98!!!!! It is embossed on the front with the imprint of the "function keys" and the back has Acura.
Another one is from Shanghai, China and looks the same, although there is only a pic from the back side, and cost $14 and change. It's apparently a knock off of the $98 one. I need (2) and would certainly not pay over $200 for these!!

There are some others, but, seem cheap. Still looking. Let you know if I find a nice leather one that is reasonably priced.

I got this one from HongKong. This is the same with the $98 but this one is only $6.99. I bought 2 of this and I got it after 2 weeks. FREE SHIPPING.

That's the one I was looking at...but, it only has the "imprint of 3 functions".....our RDX key has and needs 4 imprints.
Also, the side is really exposed for damage. But, I don't know if anyone makes one that truly covers the key....yet.

I think I'd like one with a quality thin leather that the entire smart key fits down in to, and that the front side has imprints that match up with our 4 functions. I KNOW they can do that in China!! They just need someone to show them what we need.

I don't carry keys attached to my smart key so I don't need access to the ring at the bottom corner. IF our smart keys were more "heavy duty" with chrome where the silver paint is, etc, then we wouldn't have to be so careful with them. There are high end cars/SUV's that have better quality smart keys. Guess we'll have to step up to that Audi R8!! Not an SUV...but, man, what a sports car!!
