I was about to say the same thing , haha finally consumer reports actually says something good about the RDX for once.

As a 2014 owner I gotta be pretty honest ,I am tempted to get the 2016.

When will the refreshed MMC RDX come out ??

^The 2016 RDX is the MMC of the 2nd gen RDX.

It has already been out for around a month or more. It is the 2016 model. I agree though, the new RDX makes the older 2013-2015 one look almost like a potato.

Are there any reviews where they go over the differences between the 2015 and 2016 RDX? Is the all wheel drive system improved? Is ride steering improved? If I have to hear about the difference between SH-AWD and standard AWD again I'm going to puke... Trying to decide between buying out my 2012 TSX Sportwagon (Tech) or moving on to the '16RDX (Tech). Tougher decision then I thought. Was hoping the improvements to the RDX would sell me. Looking long term - tough call...

Well they apparently fixes the crappy rear shocks that were making so much noise. They "tweaked" the awd system to send more power to the rear. It now has the dual screen layout of the other Acura models. It now had a top elite/advanced trim with cooled seats. It now has an available 8 way power passenger seat. It now has available "Acura watch" with adaptive cruise, blind spot monitors...etc. It now has jewel eye headlights, and the engine tuned slightly more to give a couple more horses and torque.

I don't think I missed anything.

One correction to the above post: the blind spot monitor is part of the tech package, not Acurawatch. The tech package also has a rear cross traffic monitor, which I find every useful.

Don't forget the addition of rear vents for back seat passengers. Prior to this the vents were hidden under the front seats.

Wow! They really made the new RDX advanced.....considering Hyundai had rear vents on the B-pillars where they actually belong for nearly 10 years, this is a HUGE disappointment for me.
