Mods you would buy
I am not normally a modder and like my cars box stock. However, I hope someone comes out with a satin aluminum mesh grille to replace the black plastic grilles in the lower front fascia (the pieces that contain the fog lights). I think the stock units are flimsy and look a bit cheap and would like true mesh parts that match the metal finish on the beak. Any thoughts or mods you would like to see available?

It would be nice to have a "sporty" version of the RDX to appeal to the younger and young at heart crowd. It could be offered from Acura or aftermarket.
- Aspec or similar type of suspension
- 19 or 20 inch wheel option
- Interior dress-up like Carbon fiber or satin or dark aluminum
- Racing pedals
- Leather shift knob
- Maybe a front/side/rear underbody spoiler kit (anything to replace the plastic grill where the fogs are at)
- Rear underbody spoiler kit that shows off a dual exhaust option (and have a hidden door for trailer hitch)
- Blacked out exterior chrome kit
- Dark blue LED foot well lighting front and rear
Still wishing for a Type-S RDX with the 280hp 3.5L engine from the TL/TSX, 7DCT, and sh-awd down the road.

I agree with some of mrgold35 list...I would love a bodykit, and I must say that the ZDX accessory wheels on the RDX looks awfully sexy! I'd wish Acura would have kept the footwell illumination. I wonder if the ILX has it?! I hope its not a new direction Acura is pushing..

Maybe Acura or aftermarket could come out with a leather shift knob with colored stitching or suede steering wheel and shift knob. Then you would not need a heated steering wheel in winter with suede.
Aftermarket support for Acura really sucks.

not sure this is feasible but would love for Acura to come up with head light kits to upgrade older models to the MDX / RLX type pearl headlights. I would like to see this for all the models that don't have them over the past few years.
ie.
All RDX's
current generation of TL
All ILX's
past generation of RL
past generation of MDX

I don’t know if this falls into the category of a “mod”, but I’ve been thinking about this.
Because we’ll be taking road trips in the new RDX, I would have gladly paid extra to have a screen available called the “Travel Information” display mode. It would display the following information, all in one place, visible to the driver as well as the passenger:

- Time
- Temperature
- Compass (a REAL one, not that lame dot on the map)
- Trip meters (displaying both the A and B meters)
- Altitude
- Range to empty
- ETA and remaining mileage for the destination selected on the GPS, if any. (On long trips, looking at the map isn’t always necessary.)

I have to admit, I'm not impressed with the NAV system; it looks and feels clunky. I've seen the NAV in a new Audi, so I'm spoiled. But, really I'd just use my iPhone as it's easier to look at.
I wish they had a better "default screen" mode; I just want to see music -- and I can get there with a few awkward keypresses.
