Fuel tank is only 60L (16gal) in RDX?!
I currently drive a 3.2L 2008 TL with a max gas tank capacity of 64L. I get about 650km (403miles) in one tank.
But I see that the 2016-2018 RDX model has a tank of 60L.
Do any of you regret or have complaints of fast gas consumption or frequent fill ups during the week? Is it a hassle compared to other V6 Acuras?
Just wonder what your experience is with filling up this SUV?

I have a question for you; how many liters of fuel have you ever put into your TL at any one fill up? I ask because I've only ever put more than 55 liters in my TL twice (55.112 liters and 56.338 liters). Given how aggressive the fuel gauge is on the 3G TL (i.e., it shows empty way before the tank is even approaching empty), you probably won't notice the missing 4-liters of fuel.

I have actually put in just a bit over 60 L at one time when I was literally driving on fumes. The TL is listed as a 55 liter tank but there is an emergency reserve of about 10 L, which bring it to a total of 64 L or so.
A 55 L tank gives me 600 km or so, and additional 10L would give me about 100km.
Are you saying there is an additional 10L resevoir in the tank which brings it up to 70L tank total?

I usually fill up at 57 to 59 liters with a max at 61.53 liters once. The tank is bigger than advertised is my guess.

^ My above comment has me thinking of another thread I started on this forum as to why it takes forever to fill the last gallon or two in my RDX tank.
Comments came back stating my emissions canister will fail since I am over-filling it, etc.
Well my Honda CR-V that I bought new in 1999 and was sold to a friend in 2013 got filled the same way...right to the top (I hate stopping for gas).
Its emission system is fine (our cars got tested) and the fuel pump is still original at over 300K kilometers (>186K miles).
Just saying.

While it would be nice if my 2016 had an 18-20 gal. tank I don't find it much of an issue. Probably because, for whatever reason, my FWD RDX gets great fuel economy for a 279 hp crossover with a V-6. Generally I get 27-28 mpg in normal day-to-day driving. So if I drive it close to empty (which I seldom do) and put in 14 gal. it gets me pretty close to 400 miles.
