Whats a fair TL-S price to bargain for?

I DO NOT want to pay MSRP. I know these Acura losers are probably going to make a pretty penny off the TL-S and for that reason I want to know how much you think I would be able to knock off from the TL-S with Navi which is at $33,700. I can use some expert opinion here. I am shooting for $33,000!

I'd say about 32K. Or around the invoice plus navi. MSRP = crap.

I got my CL and added a spoiler for under MSRP...

I have a dealer here in the Chicago area willing to give me a 2001 CLS with mud guards, spoiler, mats and navigation system for $31,700. Good deal on the CLS? I really want the TL-S though. But can't make up my mind. I was looking for a Porsche 911 before but the maintainence cost drove me away. Own an ///M3 1998 right now and just wondering if the CLS or TLS would compare.

i got my CL-s With navi about 2 month ago for 34K out the door.. so i think TL-S is 4 door and it has all the new features that CL-s dont. so i think it s gonna be a lil bit more expensive... i say.... 35-36K out the door.

Dudes, go to Edmunds.com do your homework, make em an offer 3% over invoice, plus options if any is pretty good . I bought 2001 Type-S non-nav in Sept 2000 for 28958.

Think about this, the people in the 30-40K range want a sedan, pure and simple. Therefore, if you want the car now...you have to pay MSRP. At least you're not getting an M3 with like a 3k markup..
If you want the car, but can wait...the price will go down, but I bet most of those TL-S are sold...just my reasoning.

I saw a TL-S today at Park Avenue Acura in Maywood NJ. The sticker was 31,4XX. Since it is brand new, I doubt if there will be much bargaining until the inventory starts to back up. They only had one so I think the chances are slim for a deal at least for 3 months or so. JMO

NOT a good deal....I got mine with all of that stuff for less.....I would try to get at least 6-7 hundred more off, but I would start at 30,500

Can't really compare TL-S to the CL-S. Beings how, Acura of Bellevue has had the same gold CL-S in the showroom it's had since the car came out (the 1st CL they recieved). The TLs just have a larger market (and more volume) than the CLs. That and the average dealership still has about 40 '01 TLs on the lot. It's gonna make the odds of buying an '02 for under msrp that much harder. You'll probably have to wait till winter (my guess).
