I just bought PIAA Platium Super whites off of ebay. They are DOT approved. Not really blue, but a whiter brighter light then stock.

See sig... They're not as blue when off as the others I've seen on the board. (Which was what I was looking for...)

Most of the "blue" bulbs are illegal. If they don't have a sticker saying there DOT approved, or say for off road use only, they are illegal. Will you get stopped for them? Most likely not. I just prefer bulbs that are really brighter, & usefull, then the fake blue ones. The blue bulbs actually are not as bright as regular bulbs. They just look like it. The down side of this, is most of the DOT approved bulbs are expensive. The PIAA's I just got were $65. The Blue kind are under $30
