replacing ft motor mounts @ dealer?

well i just got a call from my dealer as they are replacing my tranns that my front motor mount is broken. They say its 145 or so to replace? they say it usually goes for 200+ with installation but since they have everything out for the tranny its 145. does this look right to you guys??

oh..and i saw on acuraautomoviteparts taht they sell the front motor mount for 75ish without shipping. Should i go ahead with paying 145 to get this done?

No extended warrenty? They did mine for free when they replaced the tranny. Tell then that the tranny caused the engine to buck a lot when it "dangerously" down shifted from 5th to 2nd, "repeatedly," and that may have had something to do with the engine mount being broken.
Either way, I think $145 may be worth it to not have to deal with it. You'd save maybe $45 to $50 and have to deal with the pain of changing it your self.

Call American Honda and ask them to pay

Honda replaced the motor and tran mounts out of warranty (64000 miles) on my CL-S. When the dealer gave me the news that mounts were kaput, he asked me to pay. I asked the dealer to call the regional rep, and Honda agreed to pay for the parts and labor. My CL-S has never been in an accident. I think the mounts break because of the extreme power. I suspect the mounts will eventually be part of a recall, because they have a high failure rate on the CL's. Best of luck!
