radio and dash light turn off when headlights turn on

I just finished up the non-navi to navi conversion. What i noticed is when i turn the headlights or even parking lights on, the radio and cluster lights turn off.

I saw the dash and radio light flicker on for a sec. but immediately turned off.

I checked the fuses and they're still fine. Is there a loose ground possibly?

dimmer switch is turned to max brightness.

power seems to cut out for the cluster, radio, and climate control light when parking/headlights turn on.

you battery's load capacity has depleted too much to support everything when the lights are on?

I hope you're right.
i'll test out this theory and drive around for a bit later this evening.

After two months or so, i haven't fixed this issue (it wasn't the combination light switch).

Does this sound like a bad multiplex on the driver side?

Pull the corresponding DRL fuses. I have 17” TLX V6 Tech. Interior panel fuse no 2 and 27 for parking. BAM! That simple. Lol. Goes old school. But always no DRL.

I don't think the OP needs the help after all this time has passed. But I hope it helps some one else out who comes across this issue lol.
